It was a busy holiday weekend, but based on the website recommendations, we went late in the afternoon (4pm) and there was no wait at the entrance and the exhibit areas were busy but not over-crowded, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the various exhibits. It definitely pays to go online and purchase your timed-entry tickets ahead of... More

I spent the day at inner harbor - lunch at mcmoricks & schmick's seafood, tour of aquarium and concert at pier 6 in evening. The national aquairium has been recently renovated and it's very good , esp for kids. It's not not cheap , even with AAA discount , adult tickets are approx $27. Tickets are timed for entry ,... Excellent place to spend a long, tiring but enjoyable day with family. Huge venue offers amazing marine exhibits, breathtaking variety of fish and other water creatures, Tropical Rain Forest exhibit, a multiple-story Atlantic Coral Reef, dolphins etc add to the attractiveness of this aquarium. The aquarium also has a 4D Immersion Theater. All members of three generational family are sure... More

I loved the aquarium. There was alot to see especially the dolphin show. The jellyfish exhibit was stunning. If traveling with small children, please be aware that there are no strollers allowed in the aquarium. They will give you a backpack type carrier for your child. This can be a little hard on you. This was the only drawback. They... More

A good place for all ages. This place can get crowded, the earlier you arrive the better. As other people mentioned, during the week is the best time to beat crowds, but that is probably the same advice for all big attractions.

I bought tickets for my boyfriends birthday to the dolphin sleepover. They are a little pricy but you get your money's worth. We came from out of state and they provide you with dinner, breakfast, and a place to stay in addition to all the other fun things so in reality we would probably be paying more if we just... More

Awesome. Lots of great sites to see. Be sure to get your tickets in advance if you want to miss the long lines to buy a ticket on site. Very crowded inside and outside. Some of the most beautiful fish ive ever seen. Tanks were set up almost perfectly. Beautiful landscapes in the tanks. Interactive area to see water animals... More

We enjoy visiting the National Aquarium in Baltimore. We recommend buying a membership. It is great value and goes to benefit animal research and conservation with many other benefits. We have visited during the day during the week, on weekend days and evenings and during member only events. It does get crowded at a variety of times but not unpleasant.... More

This was the summer of aquariums for our family. We already went to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden. We loved the Baltimore Aquarium too. I will say that I do think that the Adventure in Camden is more little kid friendly, but both of my very small kids loved this one too. They do offer completely different experiences, with the... We were in town for the Grand Prix weekend and spent time walking around the waterfront area. The Aquarium at night is a great picture! There are different pavilions, we enjoyed the dolphin exhibit and Australia pavilion. As you are walking thru the main aquarium, it is amazing to be up close to so many species, especially the big sharks.... More
