Taking the train from DC to Baltimore was a great choice to visit the Baltimore National Aquarium, the train ride was amazing. Arriving in Baltimore Pen Train Station was easy to take a taxi to the Aquarium { only $7.00 }. The Aquarium was unique, the harbor is beautifull, the Sharks and Mantas are impresive, but the Jellyfish was extraordinary,... more

Named the National Aquarium, one might expect this to be an outstanding experience. You might be wanting for more when you're done. If you've never been to an aquarium, or it's been awhile, it's nice. As a city with not a ton to do and see, it's a nice diversion for half a day. The exibits are smaller than we... more

The all new NATIONAL AQUARIUM IN BALTIMORE in the Inner Harbour area, is a architectural masterpiece. It is just so overwhelmingly beautiful. There is a 35-foot cascading waterfall inside the Glass Pavilion. In the Pier 3 Pavilion, you can journey into the mysteries of water and the natural world. Interact with the dolphins and their trainers during the dolphin show... more

All aquariums have a few things in common - fish, sharks, maybe a dolphin here or there - they're pretty much all the same. For something to be considered "The National Aquarium," I was left extremely unfulfilled. At the end of each exhibit, I found myself saying "That's it?" Take for example the Australia wildlife exhibit. Some fish, some lizards,... more

Although the attraction seems to be expansive, it does not really house anything spectacular. It was $30 to get in, and it was definitely not worth it. more

Our group was comprised of 3 adults and four boys (ages 7, 3, 2 1/2 and 3 months). If you haven't been in a while it has really changed--they added a whole new wing which doubles what I remembered seeing the last time I was there. Some highlights are: the rainforest area, the jellies exhibit, the big donut-shaped tank with... more

The only way to go is to purchase the complete package. The dolphin show was diassapointing to us and I could see the reaction of the school children who quite frankly expected more than a bombardment of things we need to do to protect our water, disposing of your trash etc. I thought it was the over the top. Schools... more

This is our second time at the Baltimore Aquarium. Since our last visit, they added a jelllies exhibit and a 4D Immersion Theatre--both of which we loved. I was disappointed with one aspect of the Theatre though. You are charged a few extra bucks for entry however, you aren't asked for proof of purchase. We bought the Total Package ticket... more

This aquarium has the potential to be very interesting. And I'm sure it is when it is not overly crowded. I can't remember very much about the exhibits because many of them I could not see and because we were on a time limit, I could not wait in line. The way the aquarium is set up does not help... more
