We were not all that impressed with this aquarium. To sum it up, we felt like we spent the day looking at giant fish tanks. My dentist office has a pretty neat fish tank and it's free to look at! The dolphin exhibit was the most disappointing, with a not so great view of the dolphins and no show. There... More

This place is definitely bigger than i had expected and you will need more than 1/2 day to see everything. The giant aquarium in the main building was a top draw with loads of different type of sharks that can be easily observed. The pool with the dolphins is always a great show for the kids. The 4D movies are... More

It's a nice aquarium. It's not too different from other aquariums that I've seen though. Also, the regular admission is quite high (I believe it's over $30 per person). However, my fiance and I were able to get in for half price for some promotion, so that was nice. Visit the aquarium if you have the time or money. If... More

We visited on a Friday evening when the ticket price was discounted. Therefore, I wasn't sure how crowded it may be but was pleasantly surprised when it was not. We had ample opportunity to get close to the glass and see the exhibits. Our 18 month old son was mesmerized with something to see around every turn. We elected to... More

Visited the aquarium in August and had a wonderful day. Its laid out very nicely and is entertaining for all ages. The sharks are certianly the attraction everyone comes to see and we were not disapointed. Add it to your list of places to visit. It does get crowded so try to ge there early or possibly a weekday. You... More

There is nothing more rewarding than experiencing nature in captivity. Take it from me. My granddaughter excitedly dragged me from one exhibit to the next at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, screaming that the stingrays were the coolest thing. That is until she saw the sea turtle with only three flippers. Then the sharks were the coolest until she saw... More

We decided to make a weekend out of visiting the Baltimore area and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There are 5 in my family so it made sense to me to purchase a membership to the aquarium the night before. That was the best decision ever because when we got to the aquarium at 11:00AM, the line for people purchasing admission... More

We took our children to the National Aquarium. It is one of my favorite aquariums to visit. We have been to the one in Mystic and also Norwalk, CT but they are not as beautiful and easy to navigate.

This is not a cheap experience. But where else can you go and get up close and personal with an octopus? See the many colors of jellyfish and watch them swim around so gracefully just a couple feet away from you? Sharks and more sharks... Simply breathtaking. We thought it was totally worth the admission price.
