Great aquarium. One of the best I have been to... You can tell why they charge so much for admission.

Wow what a wonderful aquarium. Take your time and do not rush. The exhibits are well done with information and great animals. When in the Tropical forest don't forget to look up to see what is in the trees. I would spend no less than two hours and I could send a day with all there is to see.

If you find yourself in Baltimore, visit the National Aquarium. It's lovely. The birds and rain forest area are very nice. The manta rays are so relaxing to watch. Everybody in our family enjoyed themselves.

Adults are $35 and infants are free but here is the catch - you cant bring the stroller in and have to carry your baby in carriers. They provide you a carrier if you need one but bring your own just in case. The wall mounted attractions were nice. Pay attention to the show times and tours, I regret not... More

The Baltimore Aquarium is a great place for families to go. They have some really cool fish on display. My personal favorite was the jellyfish exhibit. I would definitely recommend this attraction to families, but be sure to get there a little early because it can get really crowded.

We went to the Baltimore Aquarium over Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. The only down side is that it was very crowded which caused us to skip over a few of the tanks, but that is to be expected on a holiday weekend. The exhibits were beautifully put together and very educational. I also really enjoyed the open... More

While not a bad experience, I believe all the hype about this place is a bit overly enthusiastic. The aquarium consists of many small wall mounted tanks simulating various regions. While the main tank is a decent size, it lacks it it's viewing areas (most are from above and the one below highlights a small peroration of it). The shark... More

The immersion tours are worth the money. The tour in the morning gets you into the Aquarium before it opens so you beat the crowds. The crowds are not a problem because you are treated like insiders on the tour and they pull the stops out for the tour group.

I grew up here and watched the aquarium being built. I visited in sept 2014 for the first time. My first impression was this attraction is steeply priced at $39 so I was prepared to be blown away. I was under-welmed to say the least. Lots of unruly children and people mugging and posing by the tanks detracted much from... More

Thank you for your feedback. It's incredible to welcome visitors that witnessed our Aquarium being built, however, I'm disappointed to hear that we didn't live up to your expectations. We pride ourselves as being a family-friendly facility, but hope that all our guests can share the space and enjoy inspiration from our living collection. Please know that animal care is... More

I have been blessed to have visited the World Aquarium in Atlanta, the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga and the Mote Aquarium in Sarasota. So, I cannot help but compare this aquarium with those. Frankly, I would recommend the World Aquarium and the Tennessee Aquarium over this one. The original part of the aquarium was built in 1984 so it is... More
