It was cold and miserable out, but the aquarium was warm and dry.I had come to dive the National Aquarium with a small group of fellow divers. After meeting in the staff entrance, opposite the submarine, we were whisked away for the mandatory forms completion and a thorough briefing, including the history of the aquarium and the other work that... I give them a 4.7 out of 5 stars. Traveling with a senior, so we made the trip during the week to avoid crowds, but there were several field trips, so it still wound up being a bit crowded. Parking at pier v was $24 for anything over 2 hours (It was the lot closest to the aquarium, about 5-10... More

If you love going to aquariums, then of course you have to visit. The shark tank made the whole exhibit! And of course it's in a great fun area.

This is a very large aquarium with a diverse collection of fresh and salt water species. It also has a tropical rain forest with birds. Of great appeal to children are some of the educational talks and hands-on exhibits.

I haven't been to the aquarium since I was little and it's only gotten better with time! My boyfriend and I went on a Saturday afternoon and it probably wasn't the smartest choice with the amount of screaming children! The exhibits are all amazing and my favorites were the jellyfish and Australian exhibit. I wish the Dolphins were in more... More

I have been to the National Aquarium in New England and Baltimore. They are very similar however I think that the Rainforest exhibit makes Baltimore the best one to see.

The aquarium was suprisingly good. Many of the exhibits contain birds and reptiles as well as fish. They have a dolphin show. It takes about 3 hours to see every thing. We went on a monday and there were a lot of school kids .Be prepared to see exhibits after they have moved out of the areas. acquarium family friendly.

Entrance to the aquarium is expensive but the experience was fantastic. Friday evenings are 1/2 off and they are open till 9:00PM definitely the time to go. The Australia exhibit is cool, particularly the enormous fresh water rays (they also do a feeding you can watch). The dolphin area is big and the "Keeper talks" are definitely better than just...
