This aquarium was so beautiful and clean back 10+ years ago when we had season passes. I was very disappointed with my recent visit to a place my children and I loved attending before. It didn't feel like anyone took pride in the appearance of the tanks or facility. There was even a fish that had a huge camen bite... More

Lots of fish and other sea creatures with a few creative exhibits. They have a huge dolphin area but offered no scheduled viewings or trainings/interactions so you have to wait around and see if something happens. Other viewing areas were stuffy and hot with little to no air flowing. If you want to get up close to many of the... More

We thought the aquarium was wonderful. There are many levels. You can watch them train the dolphins.

I visited this aquarium about 10 years ago and loved it. I was very glad to see that they have added several new exhibits and it is even better. Out of all of the aquariums that I have visited, the National Aquarium is bar far #1!!

Luckily my family and I only traveled two hours for this mini getaway. This was our second time at the aquarium and we were very disappointed this time around. Admission fees are very high for what you get to see. My young children were barely able to see half the exhibits due to it being over crowded. Other visitors were... More

From moment you walk in you know your somewhere special. We went around 3pm and walked around to exhaustion. Lots of twists and turns which made for a great experience. Blue wonder and the Coral Reef was my favorite part. Black Tip reef was pretty cool too. I'd recommend the 4D experience, totally worth it. Glass pavilion and the rain... More

For some reason, my family has ended up visiting lots of cities with aquariums. We counted up, and have visited 15 different aquariums. But since this is the "National Aquarium", we were really expecting to be impressed. Not so much. In our opinion, Chicago, New Orleans, Monterey, Atlanta, and even Chattanooga all have better. Not that this one was bad... More

First, thank you so much for your family's support for aquariums - all of them! As I'm sure you can imagine, we're always so thrilled to host, but we also love to hear that you chose to support other nonprofit aquariums! We're all working toward the greater good of protecting our oceans and the amazing animals in them. So again,... More

Set in the atmospheric Inner Harbor area, this aquarium is totally splendid! Accessible exhibits range from multi-story mind-blowers to miniature reproductions of a larger landscape. Escalators provide travel up and down the building, making a convenient progression to, from, and thru (!) the displays. First order of business: try to go when it will be less busy, like a weekday... More

I have been here twice, both in July 2014. 1) They have changed the military discount policy and you have to get tix from the Morale on a base. This means that you have to plan ahead in order to take advantage of this discount. We came the first time on a Saturday without knowing this and had to pay... More
