I took Dad to visit the aquarium for his birthday; he hasn't been since it first opened and it has changed immensely since then. We loved just hanging out and trying to take good pictures of the amazing animals. We loved the 4-D movie "Salmon Run" especially having just visited Alaska last year.

The layout of the Aquarium is really brilliant. We also did a behind the scenes tour, which considering the cost includes admission was really a great deal.

The Aquarium takes a lot of heat for being an expensive outing, but so is the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and large aquariums everywhere. Our visit coincided with Spring Break in the Baltimore area (Good Friday). We had planned on a mid-afternoon visit to avoid the crowds, not knowing about spring break. We arrived at 2:30 but the next available... More

Recently we took a trip to the Inner Harbor and visited the aquarium. The timed entry was a pain with two little ones and it was still very busy. We had to check the stroller before heading into the exhibit which with preschoolers was no big deal but if we had toddlers would have been a major headache. The kids... More

Very well done exhibit. It had a large variety of exhibits and the jellyfish should not be missed. The dolphin show was also very good. Reasonable and easy to access. Wheelchairs are available for the handicapped without extra charge.

There is a lot to see here, but it feels very dated and worn in many of the exhibits. The signage on the exhibits could be better, and the lighting often seemed too dark. That said, the new exhibit with sharks and the sea turtle is spectacular. And the sloths are so cute. Also, a tip for parking: if you... More

This poorly designed attraction is outdated to the time it was built, the 1980's! When the Aquarium is crowded, you cannot really get a good look at the exhibits. Parking and admission are exspensive. I much prefered Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinsburg. It had the more modern technology of going through the center of the Aquarium on a conveyer belt in... More

We took a sidetrip there while coming to DC for the week. Wonderful sights and great exhibits. You have got to see the sharks and the octopus! Very pricey without any discounts but nice to visit.

My teenage daughters and I had a great experience at the aquarium. From our first encounter with the employees - the ticket receptionist and photographer - they were exceptionally nice, helpful and informative. It continued from there with all of the workers. The displays were clean and well maintained. The information placards on the displays were original and not the... More

I went with my wife and we are spellbound. It is a must go place in Baltimore. They do give a discount for parking but it is valid only if you park in a public parking. Unknowing of this fact I parked in a private parking space which cost me around $28 .
