This is a great park for kids. They have two different areas one for little kids and one for older. Kids will be busy for hours you might have a hard time getting them to leave.

As one of a family that was growing up in Astoria in the 60's and 70's we all played and swam at the pools and park that were constructed post world war 2. It was built on the sunny south slope of our often windy cold summer little town. Then times were hard on Tapiola, The pools had aged and... More

This is an awesome play park with many different structures. Be prepared to stay for awhile since the kids are never ready to go. It has an awesome view of the river and there is a Dairy Queen on the corner!

My kids love to go to this park, but as a parent, I don't enjoy it. There are too many enclosed spaces where your children cannot be seen. Also, many of the visitors (adults and children alike) do not give the park rules a passing glance, and make it a less pleasant experience for everyone else.

Great park but it can be a little scary because of all the places kids can roam and it's hard to see them unless you are walking right along with them...but it is a great place to play and enjoy the day!

We take our kids here all the time. It is a huge playground with an original design that no other park has. There are local landmarks built in :-) Love the seperate areas for toddlers and big kids and it also has a great location.

A little ones park, a grade schoolers kid park, a skateboard park, a mini theater etc... Soooo much for the kids to do! Imbfrim Portland & I wish we'd have something like this! Worth driving from manzanita, cannon or gearhart! Love it!
