I was taking my son in to swim in the mornings. He is Autistic, he barely made a sound, this was therapeutic for him. One of the staff was up front about how he shouldn't be in there during the therapy time because he is a kid. I told him my son is Autistic and this is the only time... More

Lifeguards expect parents to be at arms reach of their kids at all times. New lifeguards enforce this unbelievable policy. They took my money, and after the kids had been swimming for an hour, a new lifeguard decided he wouldn't watch my kids swim. He even admitted that he was making a problem where there wasn't any; but said rules... More

This is the pool that was built to replace Tapiola! It is a huge asset to Astoria. Very well located. Good parking. Lots of daylight! Right across the hiway from the Maritime Museum, close to town and the riverwalk! There are weights and a work out room. Pools for therapy, workout, for children and families. Also a nice big jacuzzi.... More

We visited the aquatic center as a family (mom, 15 year old, 7 year old). We paid $15 to get in. When we asked about lockers (we had read they were included), we were told we could purchase a lock. I declined, locked my purse in the car, and took a chance on leaving our clothes in a closed but... More

Nice pool but very crowded at times. Kids can get a little too agressive so it's better to stay close to or watch your kids. Mine are bigger and I still watch them. Fun waterslide and lifeguards seem to watch it very well.

We usually go to the pool in Seaside when our family visits, but one day the pool in Seaside was closed, so we decided to go to the Astoria Aquatic Center instead. The cost was quite a bit more, $14 for the family, but once we got inside we quickly realized it was worth the cost. This pool is very... More
