Went with my mom and found out that they don't allow visitors, it's too bad because I would pay to see all the amazing birds of prey. They do allow field trips and accept volunteers.

B.E.A.K.S. is not an organization that is funded by anyone or anything other than Cindy donating her ENTIRE life and money to aid injured wildlife. These people that have written horrible, etc reviews and spewed their venom are stupid. She is not a veterinarian and she doesn't have "paid staff" that can drive out to pick up anything injured! She... More

This service is wonderful. I want to help beaks. I can do it and know how to generate funds to support this great cause. Cindy is a miracle. I can help with funds and protecting the birds. I believe if more people know about beaks more would be involved with this wonderful cause. scarlett

After seeing reviews about this sanctuary for birds, I called the organization to see about visiting. Visiting is not allowed at this time; she is only a rescue organization for birds. I really don't think this should be on Trip Advisor as you can't go to visit...

I was glad to see that BEAKS is still in operation. I visited years ago with my kids and we learned so much about the rescue and care of birds in our area. The staff here are tremendously dedicated to not only caring for our feathered friends, but to educating the public about their protection.

I called BEAKS for help after the neighborhood cat injured 2 fledglings . Cindy immediately returned my phone call at 8:00am in the morning and gave me instructions on how to get the birds and the animal hospital ( Hidden Hills ) that would assist the birds. Cindy said she volunteers her time in between raising 2 young children. Bless... More

I have taken ducks, squirrels, blue jays and have reported distressed wild lift to BEAKS. They respond with care. The environment is amazing, Owls, eagles, turkeys, ostriches and more! I gladly leave a generous donation when I drop off distressed wildlife. They are professional and caring. Visit them you won't be disappointed!

I recently dropped off a mamed duck that was no longer able to fly. It had lived in my apartment complex for over two years. New management wanted it removed and I knew BEAKS would be the perfect place. Having seen the environment, I know this duck is blessed. I can't thank them enough.

After rescuing a mature beautiful owl from the middle of the road after being hit by a truck and not knowing really what to do or who I needed to call, I was given Cindy's number. This was around 7:30pm lastnight. She was more than welling to help. We got the owl to her location and Cindy took the owl... More
