How lucky can 2 people get? Friends offered us tickets to the symphony that included transportation.- as in door to door. We gave up our season tickets a few years ago for health reasons. The ushers directed us to the best way to our seats that accommodated a walker. Since we were on an aisle we could greet old friends.... More

I took my 15-yr old "Little Sister" to see the First Coast Nutcracker. It was her first time ever seeing a live ballet, and my first visit to Times-Union Center. Moran Theater is much smaller than I expected, but very nice. We were seated on the left aisle, just above the walkway across the middle of the theater. Considering that... More

A wonderful evening at the symphony for only $30 a ticket. They always put on a high quality performance. We have attended the Pops for three years now.

The JSO is a fine arts institution in Jacksonville and is vital to keeping the arts alive. Their playing, repertoire and range of guest artists is consistently good. Close your eyes and listen...could this be Los Angeles, Cleveland, Chicago? Many times, yes!

You might not expect a world class orchestra in Jacksonville, but that's what this town has. As a former professional violinist I highly recommend you come to their acoustically excellent home on the river and listen to the mellifluous magnificence of this precious gem of an orchestra.

The best time of year is when the Jacksonville Theatre hosts the Nutcracker with live music from the Jax Symphony Orchestra. Always a superb show.
