This trail is very near my home. My husband and I spend many hours walking along the trail. When we are up to it, we bicycle along the trail and view the beautiful Florida landscape. Everyone is very friendly usually.

The Baldwin Trail is fairly wide (8 feet or so) of smooth asphalt with trees on both sides. It is a fairly long trail, (30 miles) so you should be reasonably fit and have a multi-speed bicycle, preferably a road bike as opposed to a trail bke with thicker tires. It is a safe trail with just a few road... More

The trail itself is great. I've never made it to the end. There are beautiful areas off the trail to stop off and sit and soak in a little nature. Bathroom stops are nice. Parking is sadly inadequate. It's a long way for me to drive to have to leave due to no parking.

I have ridden the Baldwin trail quite a few times. The best time of year is in the fall when the leaves are changing. It's absolutely beautiful. It's a great place for leisurely to medium paced ride. The speed limit is 20mph. The trail crosses a handful of roads, so be prepared to stop for cars at the crossings. It's... More

It was a great trail! It is nice to have a bike trail. My only reason it did not receive all 5 stars is that it was super busy when I went and had to move off the trail multiple times because there was too many people on the trail.

This place is really special. Long stretches of pristine pavement broken up by farms and wildlife. After you get 5 miles out the traffic thins out and you have the trail virtually to yourself. The tree canopy is spectacular just after sunrise with the really special places being the small bridge near Camp Milton and the curve at the railroad... More

I really enjoy using this trail. So far I've only biked on it, but I see lots of happy joggers when I'm on it. It's very shaded, the intersections are well marked, and for the most part the trail is in great shape (there are a couple spots with bumps but they are easy to see). It's a really nice... More

We stumbled upon this little gem while driving in the country on HWY121 and ending up in Baldwin. A very nice, flat walking track that is also wonderful for the grandkids and their bikes.

This is not the trail to hit in the Florida summer heat. The trail is a long straight stretch of old trackbed stretching 14 miles or so. When you get to the end, there is nothing in terms of a refreshment stand, so bring your own fluids. The Baldwin end is begging for a cafe (hint, hint). On the positive... More

Really like riding this trail. Usually went around 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. At about the 7 mile mark there was always gun shots (target practice, I assume). I did see a couple water moccasins sunning themselves and another time an owl. The canopy of trees is a nice break from the sun. Relaxing ride.
