Although it was quite warm, we purchased VIP tickets which offered seating really close to the stage, dining, cash bar and the facilities were in close proximity of our seating. You'll want to try Jacksonville's Water Taxi's, which offers another view of this historical city. Great seafood. Super nice people. Helped in a small way to makeup for the awful...

The Funkfest is a Jacksonville annual event. This event is awesome. If you ever get the chance you must attend. This was my 2nd time. Great R&B music. Never a dull moment. Can't wait to find out the lineup for next year.

PLEASE.... bring the Jacksonville Jazz Festival back to Metro Park!!! No one wants to sit on hot streets or parking lots! It used to be wonderful....a rite of spring.....sit out on the hill, listen to great music....you could sit there all day. WHY WAS IT MOVED TO DOWNTOWN???

Just recently went there May 5th for the World Nations Celebration event. It was like Epcot came to Jacksonville. The park is large and offers walking paths that are shaded annd some that go along the water. We went to Rockville for the first time. It was a total blast and we were impressed on how well it was run. It was located at the Metropolitan Park, which we thought was a great location along the river. It was kept very clean and there were plenty of restrooms. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days there!

This was our first time attending this annual event. It was really hot but it was as we expected. The highlight of the trip was that my son (and we) had the unexpected opportunity to meet & greet his favorite band there!! How cool was that??
