This is a great hike especially if you have kids over the age of five. You can take them down by the march and have a picnic way of the beaten path under shaded trees with spanish moss beards. The blue trail is where I mainly stayed with my two year old.

If you'd like to see the "real Florida", this is a good place to hike. The trail from the parking lot off Mt. Pleasant Rd. is only about a half mile to where the original owner of the land lived.
