From the moment you see this, you can tell that someone was thinking clearly and planning with a vision as they were envisioning this memorial. Well laid out and beautifully built, this memorial stacks up well with any of a couple of dozen I have seen across the country. In fact, it's in the top three. More

Jacksonville has a very nice Veteran's Memorial Wall. It's location in a parking lot between the football stadium and baseball field is a little odd, but that seems to be due to changes in the structures around it since it was originally built. The dark curved granite wall contains the names of Duvall county servicemen who have died in service... More
