Park was not busy at all. Plenty of room for 5th wheeler and full size crewcab F350 in a pull through site (#13). I would hightly recommend this park for a getaway in the off season. Plenty of bike trails, close to the beach and nice sites. It does look as if it would be busy and crowded during in-season.... More

Hanna Park is one of the delights of Jacksonville. Don't want the parking hassles and crowds of Jax Beach? Hanna Park features a pristine beach with few buildings, plenty of parking, bike and hiking trails, ponds, and RV parking. Great place to stroll or run. It's nice because although it's undeveloped (e.g., condos, bars), there are restrooms with outdoor showers... More

This is a small park at the end of Jacksonville beach and very close to the naval base. There are plenty of parking spaces available and picnic tables. Very close to the city and on weekends can be very crowded.

We went to this park for bird watching and had a great time around the lake portion. There were an unbelievable number of anhingas and lots of coots and even a moorhen hiding in the reeds. This is obviously a very nice park for families too. Lots and lots of beach, a nice playground, picnic areas, walking trails - it's... More

We have stayed here many times. This is a wonderful place to bring your family and friends for a weekend or a week. This park has a lot to offer beaches or downtown Jacksonville. We always enjoy our stay and we will be back. We stayed in a motorhome and love it.

Nice to be on the beach in January! No crowds, weather was great although the water was cold. Nice to just wade in the water, collect shells and watch the birds.

You would not believe the tropical hidden paradise right here in Jacksonville, Florida. (use to be called Access 5 during the 60's) Beautiful sand dunes, beach, lakeside picnic areas also. Bike paths.

I thought this park was perfect for RV camping. Spaces were level and big enough for our C-class and car. Lots of trees for shade, great place to take long walks. Ocean is close, as is the lake. Full hookups on almost all sites, attendants are constantly around trimming and cleaning. Would also be a great place to ride bikes,... More
