We camped here for a week, and like many of the other reviewers, could not get through via phone (it just rang and rang) to book a reservation. So...we decided to book online, not knowing until we arrived at the park that they charge a $5 online booking fee! We did not see this advertised on their website. The camp... More

Our interest is in walking, and the park offers a myriad of trails for that. You can literally get lost, and wear yourself off. The trails run through woodlands, wetlands, along streams, and is hilly as well. The wooded area parallels the ocean so if the woods don't wear you out, there are literally miles of wide open beach with... More

We spent one day at the beach with the kids. I was impressed by how accessible the beach was. There is a small entrance fee but well worth it. The park beach access is split up and they have boardwalks to the water. There was enough room so that you could easily find an area and not have to deal... More

Spent a week camping, the campground is well maintained and the washroom/ showers are clean but dated. We checked in on a Friday evening at 6:35 pm the office was closed so we proceeded through the security check point to the controlled entry(code required) campground . Alcohol is prohibited but travel mugs can hold anything!! The park itself is very... More

This is a wonderful place to take the family, and it'll only cost you a few dollars per car to get in. This money goes to helping keep it all clean, and there is a small water park for the kids, a beach to play on, and even a park that you can enjoy. It's clean, friendly, and there are... More

We wanted to travel from Pensacola back down through Jacksonville and continue to Coral Springs camping. this particular park was perfect for us to stay at for a few days while we viewed the Jacksonville, Saint Augustine sites. I highly recommend resume Saint Augustine and if you want stay at Kathryn Abbey you won't be disappointed. it is a very... More

This campground is great!!! It is huge and so close to the beach. Big rigs are welcome but bring your "A" game driving in here; and don't even think about showing up after dark. You'll be better off waiting till morning to get in your site. With that being said the campground is fantastic! LOTS of trees and sites are... More

This park is amazing. It truly is Florida's best kept secret. Since it is a City Park and not a State Park, it is not booked solid and you can actually get a reservation here. The rates are very reasonable, comparable with the state parks. Also, every site is a full hookup site. This is a big advantage over the... More

Based on an earlier visit, we recommended this park for our two oldest sons, who were visiting us. One had rented a trailer near his home and the other rented a trailer in Jacksonville, which was towed to their campsite just prior to their arrival. All marveled at the size and privacy of their campsites. They could not see each... More
