Hanna Park is so much more than the beach. biking and hiking, a water park for kids, and the best campground around the area. if you are traveling to or through Jacksonville, take an extra day or 2 and camp here, you'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere yet so close to everything. This campground deserves more recognition... More

Hanna Park is a great idea. Beach on one side and lake on the other. But I think it could use some serious remodeling or improvements. more beach side tables, etc. Also, I have watched the lake area go down hill over the years. Its still fun going tho :) BBQ grills there come in handy and the new kids... More

"Hanna" park has some of the best trails in the Jacksonville area. It has three main trails that traverse the park and offer some great Florida biking. The trails change direction depending on the day of the week that you are riding. The trails are extremely well marked and maintained by the SORBAJAX volunteers and also have great signage and... When I use to live in JAX, I spent time at Hanna Park as a close place to camp with friends. On this visit, I was reminded of the great times I had as a kid and was glad to see there are still great options for camping and exploring. The park was clean with plenty of area of exploring... More

This beach is unique in that it offers camping as well. You don;t have to camp just an option. You can bike or rent a bike if you don't have one with you. It offers kayak and canoe rentals as well these each have charges. It cost 1.00 a person to get in ut it is worth it. Its a... More

Temperatures are finally allowing us to enjoy our favorite backyard spot. Hanna park has fantastic tree covered camp spaces great fire rings and the wonderful beach. Love the bike trails. It's a great family spot that is tucked in north east Florida. Can't wait to enjoy the beach tomorrow!!!

Great mtn biking trails, nice campsite #80, & relaxing beach areas. The lake area nice as we'll. hardly any bugs at all although we did have a raccoon visitor each night.

We spent four nights here and while it rained a lot this is a great place with easy access to the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. There are plenty of great bike trails here too. The camp store was closed and apparently the county is looking for another vendor. We'd come back again for sure. Great shaded sites and it... More

For a small entrance fee per car, you get access to the beach, and a lot of trails. It is a nice day where you can spend hours just lounging by the sand or playing beach football (soccer - as you americans call it)

I been going to hanna park for years since I'm not far but recently in the past few months I noticed that certain employees would charge me a different rate when I go to the park... With a car it's suppose to be $3 up to 6 person. Sometime they would charge $4 then $6, and say they charge extra... More
