Family Reunion 2015 held here.

Very nice, clean park, great beach. The pavilions we had however were quite a trek from the restrooms.

We loved Hanna Park! The campground is beautiful! Lots of trees, beach parking and great bike trails, the beach was a short walk/bike ride away from our site. The sewer hook up was great! The security patrol and employees were nice! We were able to watch the sunrise on the beach and enjoy the moon over the ocean at night.... More

We went to Florida on 2 different occasions to ensure that we had the exact space reserved for my sisters wedding, only to arrive the day of the wedding to find the area that we reserved 3 months prior to be full with beach goers. The lady at the park was very rude and told us that we could not... More

The farther in you go, the quieter the beach is. We like to go to parking area 9 because there tends to be less people. Lots of hiking and biking trails.

I don't typically like being a negative ninny but none of the issues I have with this facility have been addressed adequately on this site. I wish i would have thought to check google reviews as the issues areat least mentioned there.I called a week ago to add a couple of days to our stay and they handled that quickly... More

A nice bit of nature in the midst of urban Jacksonville -- and home to the best beach we encountered on our recent summer survey of the coastal South, at least according to the experts (my kids). They particularly liked the wave action, soft sand, and relative isolation. We had plenty of room to spread out, which was pretty amazing... More

We have been going to Jacksonville to visit family for several years now, but we just discovered this campground a couple of years ago. We have stayed at Hanna Park a couple of times, now, and we have enjoyed each stay. The campground looks like it was cut out of old Florida growth, leaving as much of the vegetation as... More

I lived in JAX four years and didn't know of this gem until we went back for a party. Great place for a beach walk. Lots of trees lining the drive into the park giving it a nice SE feel.

Liked: dog-friendly. Woodsy trails available as well as beach access. Plenty of parking. SHOWERS to whisk the sand away when you're done. Disliked: I can't think of anything.

Beautiful sandy beach and natural area sandwiched between the city and the ocean. The modest $5 entry fee perhaps filters the crowd and pays for good upkeep. A family oriented atmosphere centers on Atlantic style surfing, playing in the waves and lots of youthful energy. The setting is beautiful and interest is added by the naval helicopters flying in and... More
