Lovely park with old maritime forest, but front desk people are just rude, rude rude! We came back because it was great last year, but this year, the front desk acted like lifers at a prison and were unhelpful. Tried to bicycle to store for some milk and was told i could not get back in to the park without... More

We go out here with the family and for scouts now and then. The staff is really nice and the facilities are clean and well taken care of. It costs us $3.00 for the car to get the six of us in and we can easily make a day of the trip. You can ride you bike on the trails,... More

they have nice facilities and the best access to the ocean in Jacksonville, in my opinion. We camped there for two weeks, and the staff were nice, but the raccoons will rob your food blind if you aren't careful.

We mainly go to Hanna Park for the beach. They are much cleaner than Jax beaches and the parking is very convenient. It is also less crowded than Jax beaches. There is a small admission charge since it is a park but it offers more than just beaches. We did kayak there but it was a little disappointing, the "lake"... More

We loved the mix of beach, without commercialism, hiking trails and separate biking trails, and the lake. This is a wonderful place.

Spring break camping at Hanna! Wow! Our kids are grown with families of their own so thankfully the camping area does have a couple of rows that are not filled with families. It is great though to see the kids on their bikes or skateboards just enjoying being out & about. Beautiful, natural setting under the canopy of native Florida... More

Between the beach, cookouts, bike trails, and natural Florida scenery; this place is fantastic. Beware of going to the beach on the weekends in the summer, it's packed.

People in the office are the RUDEST you will ever deal with. They are city employees and hate their job. Camp host harass campers. The campground is wonderful. I hate dealing with the employees. They are the worst of incompetence. Stay at the State Parks close by. You'll be glad you did. Trust me . I used to camp here... More

Easy access to the beach with plenty of parking. Sun, shade, it's all there, and not expensive to enter the park. You can hike, bike, camp. Plenty of spaces for large group or family picnics near beach or the lake. Best to bring your own food and soft drinks.

I grew up in Jacksonville, and I absolutely love Hanna Park. It is great for biking, walking, fishing, picnicking, and beach combing. There is also a freshwater lake within the park where you can rent paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks. Watch out for gators! If you paddle along quietly enough, you can see the them watching you! The beach is... More
