It reminds me of a place your went to see a movie or a presentation set in the early days of film, a very ornate facility. It is a large movie type theater where I have seen Journey, Barry Mantalow, Celtic Dancers and many more. While there is no parking at the theater, the city has several lots and a... More

Have seen a few productions her and there is not a bad seat in the house. The only issue I could see would be if you have vertigo. Not to big, just right to feel intimate with the performance.

The Florida Theatre feels like you are stepping back in time; it is a wonderful old place and the seats are all great since it's an intimate environment. I have seen several concerts there and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot in downtown Jacksonville to do afterwards, but before the concert, there are a lot of good... More

Went to the Jennifer Nettles concert and also to see very talented Brandi Clark who opened. Very historic property saved from the wrecking ball. It was wonderful to take it all in, very grand in its day I'm sure. No elevators so many steps to get to balcony. Seats in balcony have a good view of stage. Seats are tight... More

The Florida Theater is very nice, reminds one of the Grand Old Theaters and offers and authentic experience. The venue is just right in terms of size with a main floor, a balcony and a mezzanine. Every seat in the house was great. The sound from our show was great, their was plenty of room for folks to stand up... More

We see concerts at the Florida Theatre at least 3 or 4 times a year and are never disappointed. There isn't a bad seat in the house although if I had to choose it would always be center aisle as close to the stage as possible.
