Although I appreciate the history and architecture of this beautifully restored theater, I did not enjoy attending the performance in Oct. 2014. The volunteers were not knowledgeable when it came to seating directions and it caused much confusion. The audio sound was a bit laud and off and took away from the performer. But what really turned me off was... More

First off, the place is a very old, restored, classic theater. It's simply beautiful inside. Every time I go I notice something new about the building that is super interesting. With the old theater comes some quirks for sure. There aren't a ton of bathrooms, so lines can be a touch long. The same goes for the bar lines for... More

I agree this theater is beautiful but that is where it ends....people in attendance were rude and stuffy and staff were the opposite of helpful. The volunteers working the theater contributed to its character but, Anyone who is getting paid at this venue needs a long lesson in customer service. My experience at the Florida Theater has motivated me to... More

My first concert ever was here, lonestar back in 2002. I also have seen several comedians do stand up. Place is beautiful and historic which just adds to its beauty. Love this place.

We love the ambience of the Florida Theatre. They have fantastic artists that come to preform. There is so much history there, too. Very enjoyable place to visit.

This is an old, but beautiful theater. I have saw 2 concerts here, and they were awesome. Going back for another concert this month. And it's not but a couple of blocks from the hotel, that we stayed at.

The Florida Theater is a favorite place of mine for live shows. The inside has been restored and is so beautiful. The acoustics are great. There is not a bad seat in the house whether balcony or the main floor. Prices are reasonable for the entertainment there.

I have been in awe since I first went there on one of my Lackawanna school boy patrol trips. It will always be a fond memory being called upon stage for a paddleball contest. Although I didn't win, what a thrill to be on the stage looking out at the audience. This is a "must see" place, just pick out... More

I attended an event at this theatre, and it is a beautiful old building with old chandeliers and ornate ceilings and walls. My biggest concern was how packed it was while trying to get to the bathrooms, the bar, and the exit (my seat was upstairs). Really tight and a bit frightening. Acoustics seemed to be good from the stage.... More
