A nice park for a stroll or sit on the benches to gaze into the river, although the water is brown. The trees with Spanish moss is nice to look at though. It's close to some of the fast food and regular restaurants though, so it would be nice to bring lunch there on a nice day.

Recipe for a perfect first date: Bring a picnic lunch, blanket and sunscreen and sit directly in the center of the park. Enjoy your lunch, drink plenty of water (or your beverage of choice.) Then lay back and take in the amazing view of the sky and tranquil environment. Then stroll around the surrounding nature trail and make your way... More

We loved strolling through here and took many, many pictures. It is a short walk from the Riverdale Inn where we stayed. It was always my first walk in the morning...with my first cup of coffee.

Memorial park is a small but pretty park on the river in Riverside. It has a large lawn that is good for picnics and throwing around a frisbee. Plenty of nice shady oak trees for hot days. A nice quiet spot near downtown.

Great park to take an early Saturday stroll, and then eat at one of the many restaurants that surrond this beautiful park.

Memorial Park is the perfect place for a picnic on the river. You can either pack a picnic or go to one of the many restaurants within a block of the park to get a picnic lunch to-go. There is a huge grassy area or you can sit and eat on one of the many large benches. Lots of times... More

This park is on the river, is easy to walk through, and is in the middle of the best part of Jacksonville (Riverside). Go get lunch at Five Points, then take a walk through here, sit a while, enjoy looking at the water. If you come here on a Saturday you're almost guaranteed to see a wedding on one side... More

A small park of mostly grass that borders the St. John's river. Great views. A casual park that all ages use. Parents with babies in strollers, fishermen on the river, photographers taking pictures of the fountain or river. With it's proximity to the local shops, it makes for a great afternoon if not a Riverside resident and a great daily... More
