The Jax Fire Museum is located next to Metropolitan Park......a great place for kids and their handlers. There were some interesting exhibits and info about our great fire.

Went to the firehouse with some local relatives who had never heard of it after over 25 years living in Jacksonville. It's a small museum that asks only for a donation. An antique fire truck and two horse drawn pumpers highlight this fire house museum. Supplemented by fire fighting equipment and photos the museum is a good way to spend an hour or two. The only thing missing is some modern fire engines.
