We wanted to see the Jacksonville Landing for our self as we heard so many mixed reviews about it. We stopped on a Sunday afternoon thinking we could find a nice place to eat lunch and be near the water. Not a good idea as we found. First we could not find parking other than on the street, so we... More

old, sad, worn, disappointing... all good words to describe Jacksonville Landing. On a Thursday afternoon we found peeling paint amidst shuttered shops. Our friend, a local, explained the place has customers only during special events like the Florida/Georgia football game. Plus during planning stages pre construction the city had promised to build a parking structure, but never did. So even... More

The Jacksonville LAnding comes alive with live music scheduled often. A few clubs that offer a varity of music types. Hooters as great wings, attractive, friendly women, and riverside seating. Some of the restaurants have an upstairs and lower deck seating for the river view. You can catch a boat ride there to see more of Jacksonville fromt he river.... More

The Landing is a good place to stroll around if there is an event. I went twice - one for OneSpark and the other for the DragonBoat festival. It was actually packed with people. There are nice, independent shops in the Landing, my favourite was the toy store. There's also a Nine West outlet store in here.

There seem to be a lot of less than great reviews of the Landing, we have been in Jacksonville since early august and have visited on a number of occasions, and have found a great atmosphere, with quirky shops and beautiful views! Yes there are some empty stores, but I believe this is a great location and hope they will... More

We were there at 5:30 pm on a Thursday evening, and the place was dead. All of the stores closed at 5:00. There were very few people at the restaurants. There were a handful of people walking/jogging along the river. We walked down in sight off the coffee factory. We decided to sit on a bench and enjoy the weather.... More

I remember coming here as a kid and there were plenty of restaurants and shopping stores. Now things are a lot different. There aren't many restaurants or stores open. Hooters is one of the few that's been there a while. There used to be a nice sushi place there I noticed they were gone this time around. The last few... More

We attend and the Dragon races at Jacksonville Landing this past Saturday. It was a fun well organized event and very exciting to watch. We enjoyed some lunch at Fin McCools Irish pub and were able to catch the race right off the railing. I like the landing they usually have a cool event a few times a month there.... More

My wife and I were here the one night over the labor day holiday. We only stayed for about an hour. As the views of the water, bridges, etc were very nice. There were a lot of people hanging around for the free event. We walked through the shopping area and it didn't seem to enticing; at least to my... More

We visited The Landing on a Friday night. We loved the little shops, the fact that it is on the water which is beautiful downtown. The were several nice restaurant and we had a wonderful dinner waterside. We thoroughly enjoyed Jacksonville.
