Great birding spot.

Went to check out the "redneck Riviera" on a Thursday morning. Didn't feel out of place, even though we are not "rednecks". Wasn't very crowded particularly if you headed up north... read more

This is a quaint park in Jacksonville that is perfect for its scenery and serenity, a quiet place to escape it all and just meander

Load up the cooler the car and head to the beach. Huguenot is one of the few beaches left in and around the Jacksonville area that allows you to drive and park on the beach. For a small fee you can gain access to the park. Get there early because it fills up fast. You have access to the ocean... More

My family & I go about 3 times a month whether it be all day Saturday or camping for the weekend. Its a wonderful beach very clean, pets are allowed, and you are able to drive your car onto the beach. We moved to georgia (about 2 hrs away) last year and still make the drive for this place!!! :D

Liked that you could drive your car onto the beach, would go back if we vacationed in the area again

We rented one of the shelters for a fun day at the beach and used the shelter to eat lunch and dinner without additional sun exposure. It was a wonderful day - enjoyed by all.

I used to love this beach, but now it is very hard to enjoy it as young kids are allowed very loud obnoxious music. No rangers supervising either. I do not like country or rap, and the volume that they play their music is way too loud.

Crude, loud music, anappropriate behaving people. Not the place I want to go with my family. Could not find police or rangers on last Sunday to address issues.

Loud rude kids, busy, crowded, too many beautiful state parks nearby to enjoy. Keep driving don't waste time your car might/will get stuck?!

Went to check out the "redneck Riviera" on a Thursday morning. Didn't feel out of place, even though we are not "rednecks". Wasn't very crowded particularly if you headed up north towards the point. Amazing number of waterbirds. Nice shallow water, nice for wading . Feels like natural old Florida beach. Beautiful dunes.

Sleeping in the car at Wal Mart is better. This was the worst camping experience of my life. The navy base 200 yds away is SO LOUD literally all night, sounding sirens, loading ships, flying helicopters. The rules are incredibly restrictive, including curfews. Bathrooms Are filled with standing sewage and I've never seen this many insects. Walking from the tent... More
