When I saw a video from a friend, it looked like a small fountain. However, when I saw it last week, it was the largest fountain I've seen, and it was just wonderful to sit by to relax. The colors change, there are several spouts for fountains, there is covered and uncovered seating, and you can lean right up against... More

I made a point to walk across the Main St bridge to go visit the Friendship Fountain because I read reviews that it was stunning. It was a nice fountain but there wasn't anything special about it and it wasn't all that large. My recommendation was don't make a special trip just for it, but enjoy it from the northside... More

Came down to Jacksonville with some friends and we stopped by the Friendship Fountain and strolled around a bit. Lovely fountain colors at night and a great place to sit, talk and enjoy some time with friends. The view of the river and bridges surrounding the area was also a plus!

This is a city park right on the river between two bridges and surrounding a huge decorative fountain. The park is almost directly across the river from the Landing in downtown Jacksonville. There are multiple seating benches near the fountain and a few on the river front itself. Several picnic tables were located near the riverfront for those who enjoy... More

If you have a chance, visit this place. Find a bench and just take in the view of the river, the fountain with changing colors, enjoy the huge shady oak trees and look out over the water. It's a nice getaway and just steps away from the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

We drove the hour from Amelia island for dinner and then a viewing of the lights at the friendship fountain. Our dinner went faster than expected, so we arrived at the fountain at 7:30. I had read in their website that starting July 1st at 8:30pm there would be,"a Fourth of July special of lights in the fountain and patriotic... More

A very nice place to sit near the Riverwalk with a pretty view of St. Johns River. The fountain itself is so pretty. Good for single traveler to view and relax near or for couples to visit. Families would like it too. Really just a place to hang out. Immediate access to Riverwalk and Main St. drawbridge that one may... More

The fountain has been redone if you havent seen it in a while. Just a visual thing, not a fountain the kids can get wet in. Beautiful scenery. New lights, benches, etc. It's a great spot directly next to the Main Street Bridge on the Southbank of Downtown Jax. You can catch a water taxi from The Landing across the... More
