I am surprised that the other reviewers enjoyed this place so much. Our group of four adults found the self-guided tour to be on the dull side, and the questions we had remained unanswered. The slave house remains should have been really informative, bringing to life what it was like to live in them. We couldn't even find out how... more

I made a turn off my travels from Amelia Island to St. Augustine to explore Kingsley Plantation. I'm glad I did; it was worth the detour. I would have liked to have had a tour guide, but I made the best of it. It was intriguing to see how people lived during the plantation days of the early U. S.... more

We visit Kingsley Plantation every time we go to Florida. It is one of our favorite places! In a peaceful area one can explore lifestyles and history of a by-gone era. The staff is always informative and friendly. A leisurely walk around the ground is relaxing. Also the lawns are fairly flat and sidewalks surrounding house makes the outside wheelchair... more
