Took my nephews on a rainy day and they enjoyed all the different activities. They enjoyed being able to pet a snake in the animal exhibit. On a rainy day, this is a good place to kill a few hours for children. Only issue is that there was no staff present in the brain teasers area. A large group of... More

Geared towards children, but still a good stop for adults. Just know that there's going to be a toooon of kids.

The weather was miserable so we ducked into here for a few hours. It's cheap compared to other museums & you do pay a little extra for the planetarium show. Yes many of the exhibits are older & not everything works but it's a great little place anyway. They have so many hands on exhibits that do work & cheerful... More

MOSH is a nice place to visit for a short jaunt in the morning or afternoon. However it is fairly expensive for what you get and a family of four can expect to pay around 30 dollars for two hours maximum for the visit. Not to mention that the planetarium and other facilities cost extra to see. Many of the... More

We decided to got to one of the MOSH afterdark events for the first time and leave the little guy with a sitter. I had an unbelievable time. The price is pretty hefty, but it is a fantastic date night for around Valentine's Day. I will be doing this with my husband again this year. There is a very "adult"... More

My nephew is a BIG science fan. He ran through this museum very very quickly. Don't get me wrong, it was some sort of entertainment for a little while, but I prefer the Cummer Museum over MOSH. Cummer has a beautiful outside garden over the water and a wonderful hands on portion for children of all ages. This just didn't... More

This museum is seriously dated. The museum is falling apart and smells. There is only one new exhibit and its not that great. The rotating exhibit space was almost empty and had boring information. I would recommend the History section that is actually great! But the rest is terrible.
