We visited the second day that Dinosaurs was released. It was busy but never felt crowded. The dinosaur display was wonderful and the permanent attractions were great too. Our kids had fun and they have enough displays/attractions for a 4 hour visit or so. There is a small play area for kids 5 and under near the front too. We... More

They usually have a "featured exhibit" every few months. The regular exhibits are pretty cool. My kids like to see how much are area changed. We even took Grandma to it, and it was fun for them to see her take on the "old" stuff. We haven't seen a planaterium show in years, but I remember them being cool.

My family and I (kids 6 and 8) had a wonderful time at The MOSH yesterday. Going into it I didn't think we'd be there all that long because from what I read it was a somewhat small museum. We were there a good four hours. The NW Florida history section - the better part of the second floor until... More

I really enjoyed the planetarium and the section devoted to Jacksonville history. Although I went without children, you can tell the museum is designed with children in mind, and there is plenty for them to do. The exhibits change periodically making MOSH worth repeat visits.

I always going there from time to time to see what's new there. The planetarium has plenty of seating & is very informative. The walk down memory lane for those that like to reminisce about the days gone by (the old style furnishings) or just see pictures & memorabilia of what life was like long ago. There is military discount... More

This place is INCREDIBLE!! I took my 2 year old daughter on $5.00 Friday so it only cost us $5.00 for so much hands on fun!! The sea life creatures are amazing with the bones and live sea creatures you can actually touch. Then the room with the turtles and snakes is so amazing. You could actually see all the... More

Great museum for kids and adults. The planaterum is wonderful and the various programs during the year lets you see the ever hanging night sky. The hands on for kids is wonderful, my wife always took her second graders down each year. It is worth the trip

I was told by a lot of people that this museum was out of this world awesome. Personally I felt it was really small. I went with my grandmother, sister, and toddler nephew. This place is definitely not baby friendly. We were in one part of the museum where they had hurricane simulators, and he freaked out, had to rush... More

Not much to see here. Took longer to maneuver into the parking lot than it did to go thought this place. Did not go into the planetarium for fear of further disappointment. One floor had nothing but billboard advertisements displayed. Definitely wasn't crowded!
