So I was terribly excited to visit this much hyped museum with my 7 year old. We had just visited the Orlando science center and had a blast so we anticipated the same. Well, I was wrong!!! Horribly wrong. This was at the max a 3 hour activity which included paying extra for a movie. Not much in the way... More

I will start this review by saying we are in Jacksonville for a couple of months: travelling with an 11 year old who is receiving proton therapy treatment here for a brain tumour. We were fortunate enough to receive free tickets via the clinic, and to be honest, it's a good job we didn't pay for this experience. Perhaps the... More

My husband and I figured we would check it out. We enjoy museums and the like , plus the weather was threatening to explode rain . So off we went to enjoy an adventure of science and history. The price is perfect . 10$ for adults is very reasonable for what they have . But I warn you kids are... More

This is a small museum. It uses the available space well. Younger children can explore all the exhibits in a short visit without getting tired, but older children will be done exploring quite quickly, unless you have remembered to buy a ticket for the superb science show, or the Planetarium. If you only have time for one of these shows,... More

The science exhibits in this museum were very well done; they captured and held my sons' interest (and hopefully taught them things along the way). They were much less interested in the history portions, which I found fascinating. We all enjoyed the live animals and the lovely courtyard. I wish we had time to visit the planetarium, but that will... More

Took my 15 year old daughter for a day trip, we had fun and at this time they had the shark display up name escapes me at this moment, Megaladon maybe. but overall only complaint was no area to sit and have a drink, and parking was a bit weird but overall was a awesome time.

We have been to this museum before in 2006, and we finally decided to go back and see if it had changed. It had not. Most of the exibits are the exact same and not really that interesting. My family and I would rather spend the day at the zoo or St. Augustine. Would recommend for a one time trip,... More

I visited the MOSH with a large group that is my family. We had little ones, preteens, young adults, and senior citizens and everyone was entertained. The science portion kept the kids more than busy, while the adults were more than intrigued in the history section upstairs. The only thing that could've made it better was to have employees surrounding... More

This museum was nice. It is pretty large and has many interesting exhibits. The only down side was that we went on a very bus day and couldn't see much or do a lot of the hands on stuff because of the crowd.
