A great place to visit. You might even learn a bit! My favorite attraction is the science show; the presenters always interact very well with the crowd, and the kids seem to love it! The animal center is pretty nice as well. Planning on getting a year pass soon so I can come back more often.

I was do excited to take my kids here. We were even more excited to know the megalodon exhibit was there. Is was expecting to see real stuff not just replicas of everything. The most they had was just a bunch of shark teeth. We enjoyed the history of Jacksonville more. There are some cool things there to see but... More

We have been here frequently because it is a nice place to take a family in Florida. Not so HOT! I agree with the others that this isn't in the same league with other Science Museums I have been to throughout the world. It is smaller. Normally, a few hours and we are done. But what is there is well... More

As always my kids had a blast here... the science show is awesome and pretty hands on. The director really interacted with the audience making it seem pretty intimate! Only downfall is everytime we go the children's playground is closed which is something my toddlers really looked forward to!

So I was terribly excited to visit this much hyped museum with my 7 year old. We had just visited the Orlando science center and had a blast so we anticipated the same. Well, I was wrong!!! Horribly wrong. This was at the max a 3 hour activity which included paying extra for a movie. Not much in the way... More

I will start this review by saying we are in Jacksonville for a couple of months: travelling with an 11 year old who is receiving proton therapy treatment here for a brain tumour. We were fortunate enough to receive free tickets via the clinic, and to be honest, it's a good job we didn't pay for this experience. Perhaps the... More

My husband and I figured we would check it out. We enjoy museums and the like , plus the weather was threatening to explode rain . So off we went to enjoy an adventure of science and history. The price is perfect . 10$ for adults is very reasonable for what they have . But I warn you kids are... More

This is a small museum. It uses the available space well. Younger children can explore all the exhibits in a short visit without getting tired, but older children will be done exploring quite quickly, unless you have remembered to buy a ticket for the superb science show, or the Planetarium. If you only have time for one of these shows,... More

The science exhibits in this museum were very well done; they captured and held my sons' interest (and hopefully taught them things along the way). They were much less interested in the history portions, which I found fascinating. We all enjoyed the live animals and the lovely courtyard. I wish we had time to visit the planetarium, but that will... More
