It was fun. There several exhibits that didn't work but the ones that were did were nice. The science show was fun but the guy doing it seemed it he had just been asked to fill in. He didn't use any of the props in the room. But did I good job just the same. The coyote show was good.... More

Many hands-on experiences for children. A worthwhile trip for a couple of hours on a rainy summer day. Open spaces with well-organized exhibits.

My sister and I took my almost 2 year old niece to the museum the other day. They had a lot of hands on exhibits and activities that my niece was able to interact with (which was very nice because it's difficult to find interesting things to do with kids that young). They had live reptiles and a neat Dinosaur... More

A very reasonable venture and a learning experience for children as well as adults. Lots of hands on educational things to do for all. The dinosaurs exhibit was awesome and realistic. Going thru time with various exhibits was neat.

Our 13 month old son loved watching the dinosaurs move and make noise. He also was fascinated by the other exhibits. Perfect for little kids.

Jax may have tall buildings but North Florida is very small-townish so don't expect a NY or Boston caliber museum experience. Small kids will probably think it's great, and the exhibits are generally well done although you can see the whole place in a couple of hours if you do the planetarium show and really take your time. Parking is... More

We visited the Museum of Science and History on a warm summer day with reluctant children who wanted to be building sand castles. My children were immediately drawn in by a touch tank presentation. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are a variety of exhibits - ocean, dinosaurs (temporary), the history of Jacksonville, the body, space and an outdoor... More

Small science museum with exhibits for folks of all ages. We had children 2-13 who all enjoyed the visit. We were only there about 2-3 hours and saw everything and a show about Opossums.

Museum of Science and History (MOSH) had a dramatic and beautifully done exhibit on dinosaurs (EXCELLENT). Not sure how much longer it will be there. Everyone will like this exhibit. The other thing that I personally liked was the history of the Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. This is a permanent exhibit, so I don't know if people who have... More

My husband and I really enjoyed the MOSH...loved the dinosaurs exhibits and the history of Jacksonville, was a great visit. On Friday's it is only $5.00 admission. Great for kids, we went as adults and enjoyed the museum.
