I visited the MOSH with a large group that is my family. We had little ones, preteens, young adults, and senior citizens and everyone was entertained. The science portion kept the kids more than busy, while the adults were more than intrigued in the history section upstairs. The only thing that could've made it better was to have employees surrounding... More

This museum was nice. It is pretty large and has many interesting exhibits. The only down side was that we went on a very bus day and couldn't see much or do a lot of the hands on stuff because of the crowd.

Nice place to visit. We always make a coin on the coin making machine when we go there. I wish they would spend some more money and create more activities for cjildren and adults. They have improved but progress is slow.

I enjoyed myself visiting the MOSH. We went on $5.00 Fridays. It was busy with a lot of summer groups but we still had a lot of fun. There were lots of interesting interactive hands on exhibits. You could easily spend 2, 3 or 4 hours looking at everything on all 3 floors. I didn't go to the planetarium this time... More

Enjoyed our visit on $5 Fridays, and there were many interesting displays, although the majority of exhibits are more for children. We are seniors and the three floors gave us plenty to look at for a few hours. I thought the system for buying tickets was terrible! There were three people at the reception desk, but only one was selling... More

Visited with kids from 4 to 17. Hands on fun for all. Has a fascinating section on local history, including Native Americans in the area.

We stopped here on a road trip for a little fun. I was pleasantly surprised to find out we were visiting on their discount day. The Science areas are great for the kids. Lots of hands-on exhibits to explore. We saw the Extreme Science show and it was AWESOME! Apparently the topic changes depending on which person is presenting. We... More

This museum is currently offering $5 Fridays in which admission is only $5. We paid the $5 to park since all the free parking was gone when we arrived at 10:15. The ticket counter was very busy, but the staff there was informative and friendly. I think this museum has the potential to be great, but they need to fix... More

If you've been to Washington, DC and even Downtown Baltimore for the Science center then coming to the Mosh Museum will dissapoint in a big way. This place needs some serious updating and is very inconvient for pusing strollers around since there is only one elevator which is used by the employees as well. This place is spread out over... We visited during spring break, and stopped here to spend a a few hours in downtown Jacskonville. This was time and money well spent. My kids had a blast with all the interactive activities and I learned a lot about the local history. Between the local history (my personal favorite) and the exhibit on Energy Resources (also very informative), we... More
