This is a gem! The beaches here are always so clean. Love the super easy access, and multiple access points. I always feel safe and my stuff is secure here. Great way to beat the inland heat!

Plenty of free parking during this time of year. I wish there were benches to sit on at the beach. I enjoyed watching the people catch live fish, some over 3 feet tall from the pier. The people were very friendly. It was awesome! Jacksonville Beach is only 15 minutes from the hotel and about 10 minutes from the malls.... More

Flat sandy beach with plenty of room for families. If you live on the Gulf coast and are expecting blue water, then stay on the Gulf coast.

We found this beach because of the area of shops and restaurants around it. There are lots of varieties of restaurants and bars right along the beach and vacation homes right on the beach. The beach itself was well kept and quiet for the most part, filled with mainly families. I recommend this beach for families and young children and... More

Love Ragtime Gumbo and french bread. Great shops and eats you can walk to. Entertainment on the weekends. Beach is right there. Larger stores like Steinmart are a short drive.

Nice, powdery white sand and lively crowd. An underappreciated gem of Jacksonville. The surrounding area has great restaurants and some good shops.

If you're intending on finding a pristine stretch of beach with blue water, not recommended! Water was brackish and yellow. Sand was nice, shells everyone.

Atlantic Beach is a great place to go for enjoying the ocean and fun. The beach is great for strolling, riding bikes, surfing and fishing which means there usually a good crowd of people. A great thing about Atlantic Beach is there are hundreds of options for food and refreshment up and down the beach. Stop by and enjoy!

Very quaint, updated, trendy street with many great restaurants and shops. We stumbled onto this charming little town on the way to Jax beach.

We came to Jacksonville for a funeral and we all needed a little time to unwind and grieve together. The quiet beach allowed us to spend hours reflecting, crying and then just looking at the beauty. The teens really enjoyed swimming and boogey boarding. We want to go back on a happier occasion and spend whole days at the beach!
