The Blackhawk Automobile Museum, part of the Smithsonian, has a premier automobile collection of approximately 90 cars on display. The types of cars here include Rolls Royce Phantoms, Mercedes-Benz, Bugatti, Cadillacs, Ferraris, Packards, Jaguars, Alfa Romeos, Aston Martin, and more. Its amazing. There is also a gallery devoted to one of the founders Ken Behring, real estate developer and former... More

Ken Behring enjoys automobiles and this museum is a testament to that Mr. Behring was a real estate developer, former ownr of the Seattle Seahawks, and also a philanropist. There is the 90 car Blackhawk museum that has amazing premier historic cars on display. Another part of the museum is about his philanthropic efforts. One of his major focuses was... More

Blackhawk auto museum is always a quality act. There are the classics that always seem to be there but they never fail to surprise with something new and interesting. Worth a few hours on an afternoon.

Even if you're not a car a enthusiast this place is amazing. So many varieties of cars from different ages, most of them priceless. Many of them with very interesting stories. Do an image search online and I promise you will be wanting to go.

this place is amazing! the cars, all sorts, makes, models, years, colors. there are so many. hubby had his camera and loved taking pictures of many. the smell, the lights, the colors. a real must visit for an old car buff. i'm not a car buff at all, but loved the sparkle and beauty of those old machines.

This is the Blackhawk Automotive Museum. It used to be owned by UC Berkeley. http://www.blackhawkmuseum.org/history.html Excellent museum, even if you're not a car buff.

Well presented, wide variety of exhibits. Whilst not an expert this was impressive and knew nothing about it from usual 'attractions' bumph. From outside does not look impressive but, like Tardis, goes on and on inside. Perfect for a dull/overcast day; the covered walkways in the pretty plaza and seating add up to a pleasant trip - the small shops... More

We went there for a wedding. You are surrounded by antique cars. A very nice place to hold any type of an event. Service was good, I believe, provided by Scott's Seafood Restaurants, however, food was prepared by another caterer.

All I can say is, "WOW!" The museum displays all sorts of vintage and classic cars. I particularly liked their gorgeous cars from the 1920s and 1930s. These were the top of the line, super-luxury cars from that era. Those early cars and all of the other beautifully restored cars from later eras will blow you away. Each display has... More

There is a lot to see but it's currently under renovation for a new exhibition. So most of the cars are currently in storage.
