I haven't been this impressed with an automotive museum since my visit to Harrah's Museum in the 1970's! The amount of one of a kind concept cars, and limited production high end automobiles was breath taking, and well worth the trip to see them. I am very anxious to return during one of their first Sunday of the month car... More

We have been to the museum several times for private evening events (dinner downstairs with a guest speaker; cocktails before and having time to enjoy the museum). Being able to wander around and view the beautifully restored cars is a treat for everyone, you don't need to be a car buff to enjoy viewing the cars. In our most recent... More

We attended a birthday party here and it was a wonderful experience. The cars are beautiful and the ambience is truly amazing. The gallery was wonderful. Renting it out for parties is also amazing. Just a great overall experience

Most car museums I have visited display cars in realistic settings, i.e. street scenes, garages, drive ins, etc. This museum shows them off as the pieces of art they are. The cars in this collection are not your run of the mill autos, but exquisite, rarities displayed to show their beauty and style. The gallery upstairs is a wonderful history... More

Having visited this museum several years ago, I returned to show my wife a museum which I thought would wow her. Instead of two floors of a wide variety of historic cars displayed almost as works of art, I was confronted with one floor of cars (more modern foreign sports models than historic American) lined up in rows. The second... More

Always known as major car museum, it has been a mecca for the car fans....but today we discovered some changes for the worse. Not only are the cars being shown the same as the last visit, but there's one less floor of them. This is now another unrelated display. Nicely done as it was, the experience was a disappointment. The... More

Beautiful clean automobile museum. They had tons of different one of a kind cars. My teens really enjoyed their time reading the history on the vehicles and looking at their great details. The museum is very spacious and has 3 stories. You don't feel crowded at all. The front staff were very inviting and friendly. You can also enjoy some... More

Great setting and brilliant display of superb rare automobiles. The visit is well worth the entrance fee. The museum is available for auto club events and is staffed with very knowledgable docents. As a bonus the second floor houses a great western collection which really needs a couple of hours to do fully view.

I have toured the greatest automotive museums in both the US and across Europe, there are many good ones. However, no museum in the US does a better job of showcasing the cars than the Blackhawk. This collection is vast and their cars on display change throughout the year. But whatever is on show is the creme of the crop... More

My daughter lives around the corner from the Blackhawk Plaza and each visit we commented that we should see the Blackhawk Museums but never get there. This trip we made it happen. The first museum is the automotive gallery and it was fascinating to see some of the one of a kind cars from years back. The Spirit of the... More
