I liked everything about the CIA. The instructors, the atmosphere and most of all, when we were finished shooting we got to eat the food props. What a real treat. The 7 course menu was fabulous and on top we got paid too!!!! More

We had dinner at the Escoffier restaurant just last weekend, in a private room. It seated 9 people very comfortably. Food, service, ambiance (no loud music), presentation - all were stellar. Highly recommend. Park in the covered garage in front of the building. There is a ramp for wheelchair access if needed into the building. Reservations a must. More

We have been to all of the restaurants and they are all very good. It is especially great to talk to the students and hear where they are from and what they plan to do when they graduate! Great deals from January to March which is their slow period! More

Much ado about nothing. Food is average, service is okay. Price exceeds performance. More

Years ago, we had lunch at the CIA in California, which we learned on this NY visit is affiliated with the much larger Hyde Park institution. The campus is beautiful. Various parts of the teaching building credit donations from every well-known food purveyor in the US. From our graduating student waitress at lunch we learned that new classes enroll every... More

4 Restaurants, a cool cooking books and gadgets store, and interesting tours. You too can take a cooking class (check the website). If you are driving through and class is in session (most of the year except for a bit in May - June and over Christmas), stop in and try the Apple Pie Bakery for lunch. Only open til... More

We stopped here as part of a group. The food was excellent. I had the roasted pork that was cooked to perfection. My only complaint would be the goat cheese cake, it just didn't work. More

It was a wondeful class teaching you preparation techniques as well as cooking. There were 18 students working together preparing salads, meat, foul, fish and pasta entrees which were all very delicious. I will be taking another class. More
