This tour gives you a very informative and detailed tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield and Town. A Pre-Ride narration of the 3 day battle was given before the bike tour. This was extremely helpful when riding and visiting each section of the battlefield and town. The guide was very courteous, informative, helpful, and friendly. All our questions were answered. I... Of the many ways to tour Gettysburg battlefields, this is surely the best. Owner/guide Bob was a fountain of information, not only about the history and tactics of the battle, but about many human interest stories related to the Civil War. He took extra time to show each participant the relevant monuments related to one's home state, as well as... More

My wife, 15 year old son and I took the 3 hour afternoon battlefields tour with our guide Bruce. It was a great experience. It was my first visit to Gettysburg and Bruce made it come alive with clear explanations on the strategy and movements of both the Union and Confederate generals and armies on those three fateful days in... I booked this trip as a Father's Day gift for my Dad who is a huge history buff. By the end of the tour, the three of us who attended learned more than going to the museum's and visitor center in town. Bruce, our guide, created a great visual for everyone, always going back to the "fishhook" to see where... More

This was a recommendation from a friend of ours who is a school teacher. He said by riding through the fields you would get a better perspective and he sure was right. We had Bob the owner who is a teacher himself. He was incredible. He wanted to know what interested us and tailored the tour around our interests. We... More

Loved this tour! A great way to see the battlefield - with wonderful guides. The biking was relatively easy - with only a couple of hills. We did the four hour tour and it lasted a little longer. Not to worry - there were plenty of stops along the way. It was a small group (four) and we were able... More

From start to finish, a positive experience….Kelly was delightful to work with for reservations and details and our ride was the perfect length. A friend and I took the Yanks tour, lasting 3+ hours, and learned and absorbed more in that time than an afternoon at the museum. It was helpful to have done the museum and movie prior to... More

We took the 4 hour tour with Bob as our guide. Biking Ability -Do not fear the 4 hour ride! The tour has MANY stops and the hills are not bad at all. From what we saw of the tour, any less than 4 hours would result in a much diminished picture of the battle. The Tour- incredible. Bob brought... More

I just returned home from another trip to Gettysburg and once again the highlight my time at Gettysburg was my time and investment with GettysBike Tours. Our guide, Bob, created a tour that met our EVERY need and then he provided his expertise and improved our itinerary. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about the battlefield, but he told us... My daughter and I visited Gettysburg on a Thursday in April and booked a bike tour. It was one of the best times that we had on our vacation that also included a visit to Washington. The tour lasted 4 hours and was filled with interesting facts and details about the famous battle. My daughter said that learned more about... More
