I like the ambiance of this theater. Have only seen movies here, but think there are live shows also. The movies that show are critically acclaimed- not blockbusters. I believe in the summer they show older classics on Wednesday nights for free.

We went to a movie here and the pricing was very good ($7.50),the theater was very clean and new. Food was inexpensive and the popcorn was good. Nice place to see a movie with stadium seating. Very small theaters, but then Gettysburg is a small town. Liked it!

Well I must admit the outside of the Majestic doesnt reflect the beautifully restored interior. Very comfortable seating and a very well produced film of the Story of Gettysburg. Would recomend to all.

the theatre was beautiful and the staff very accommodating. We sat in the balcony, front row, and really enjoyed the show. Tickets were not overpriced.

On one of the last afternoons we were there we decided to go to this historic movie theater to see Railway man----what a beautiful old movie theater--very quaint and seats maybe 80 but two theaters and they are doing a series on Wednesdays that looked really interesting.

The old theater, beautifully restored has become part of the hub of the arts scene in Gettysburg, Pa. You will find plays, musicals, movies, dance and a gallery of visual arts.
