Four of us drove up from Frederick, Md, which is nearly an hour south of Gettysburg. The musical For the Glory, as well as the Majestic Theater were more than worth the drive. The best part of our trip to Gettysburg was seeing the live theatre performance of For the Glory, the Civil War Musical in Gettysburg. It really brought to life the emotions of all of the people whose lives were effected by the Civil War. After touring the battlefiels, it was a great end to our experience here in Gettysburg! more

Walking around Gettysburg, my husband and I were drawn to this old-fashioned looking movie theater. It was really cute, clean, and decorated nicely. They had 2 limited release films playing, $7/ticket. I would recommend this as a break from walking around town or in case of rain. more
