My 5 year old grandson was enthralled with being inside a bubble. He loved the water experiments - Lots of things one can't do at home. Wonderful crafts area and he brought home some great art creations. Lovely owners who really like kids. Even the store showed lots of thought - a great place to buy children's gifts

Sine the "new" Visitors Center at the Park does not have the Electric Map which for decades was the effective means of getting an orientation overview of the three day battle,the Diorama nicely fills that function.

Great rainy day activity for kids. 6+ uniquely themed rooms of activities for kids-- puppet theater, water play, dress-up, civil war pretend-play, construction, glow-in-the-dark, art, etc. This is the kind of place you can go to MANY times and not get tired of it.

I took my nephew here and he had a great time dressing up, making crafts and being inside the bubble. His favorite thing was being inside the bubble we must have done it over and over for 20 minutes.

If you have children with you in Gettysburg you must do this! DOnt wait for a rainy day because they have cool stuff outside too. This museum (more like a historical play house for kids)is owned by women who were once school teachers.
