Always a challenge to find new and fun things for my 11-year-old twins, but this really worked. Rob made it not only fun, but his attention to detail was amazing, and he took the time to give everyone a bit of flair to match their personality. Having the studio to ourselves and watching Rob mix up the chemicals made it... More

Wow! My husband and I researched different studios to have a tin type made. Time and again, we kept coming back to look at Gibsons Studio. We narrowed it down between Gibsons and one in Virginia. So glad we came to Gibsons. From the time you walk in the door you feel transported back in time. When you enter, you... More

We visited Mr. Gibson's studio on a rainy day, midweek. The studio was closed but Mr. Gibson made a special trip into town to open just for us. The experience was amazing! He explained everything he was doing and let us watch every step of the process. He encouraged questions and even gave us a small history lesson. The tintype... More

My family of 6 had our pictures taken at Gibson's last week. The experience was first rate and of course the picture was great. Mr. Gibson has a ton of experience taking photos of Hollywood stars and many of his works can be seen in the movies and on TV. Ask him you tell you a few stories. Very interesting.... More

To be honest, I have always felt the retro novelty photo thing was goofy. I remember thinking to myself that it might be cool to do IF I found someone who actually used a vintage camera, and who did the entire process the way it was done during a certain period. Well, a few weeks before our planned trip to... More
