Rob and Dee Gibson know how to make your experience a very fascinating and memorable occasion. We go annually to have a tin type done and it is always a thrill to see Rob and Dee and it's a lot of fun working with them on a new idea for a photograph.

When we stopped by his shop was closed, but I called the number on the door and he was able to meet us there within 30 minutes. It wasn't just a photograph but an educational experience that took nearly 90 minutes. We loved learning how he takes these tin type photographs. My 11-yr old daughter said it was her favorite... Not only was it great to be able to get our picture taken with a camera from the Civil War era on a tintype, but it was really something to be able to learn how the process works. I teach US History and I love showing my students my picture and telling them all about it. Highly recommend Gibson's studio.

I highly recommend this place, you will not regret it. This the only place in Gettysburg where you can have a tin type photo. Rob, the owner and photographer, was very friendly, patient and extremely helpful. He explained in detail the many choices we had, the prices and listened to our many requests. Most importantly, he showed us how he... More

We scheduled our appointment before coming into town and we still had to wait about a 1/2 hour longer but that was because the group before us was so large. This was well worth the wait though. This is run by a husband and wife team. She helped to dress us and had a real good knack of bringing the... More

Rob Gibson was great! Very professional, friendly, and did an all around great job. This is not your Instagram filter style cheap photo, this is done with a camera from the 1800's, with photos taken the same way they were taken back it those days. Worth every penny.

Rob and his staff were, AMAZING! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional in all aspects of the process. Stepping into the studio is like stepping back in time! Professionally done photographs line all of the walls and the clothing available is plentiful in size, quantity, and variety! My fiance's eyes are very blue and turned out almost white in the tintype,... More
