This is the newest addition to the Gettysburg chain of museums and battlefield sites to see. Remade train station situated on the site where Lincoln arrived in Gettysburg. It won't take a long time to see, but it is worth checking out when in town.

Recently remodeled to past when Lincoln arrive in Gettysburg to give his famous speech. Nicely done--free to the public.

This is a remake of the original train station that Abraham Lincoln arrived at to give his Gettysburg address. The foundation of the original train station can be seen. There are a number of panels to explain its history. We were there less than an hour.

this place has a great history. not a whole lot to see but just visiting the place is special. and it's across the street from my favorite breakfast diner, The Lincoln Diner...wonder how they came up with that name!

To walk in and see the place where President Lincoln arrived and departed Gettysburg, Very cool! Only a hand full of exhibits but any more and I think it would take away from the actual building. In the rear corner of the building you can actually view the original platform.

We stopped by in the afternoon but were disappointed that they were getting ready for a social gathering that night, so much of the regular displays were taken down to make room for tables, etc. It was just one of those "we were there at the wrong time" deals. But the displays that were there were very interesting.

IF you have a few extra min, it's well worth your time- it is a wealth of history and just a block or two from the main square

The Gettysburg Railroad Station is now a museum with some very interesting pictures taken around the time of the battle and soon after. Another item I did not know until we were actually in Gettysburg is that there is another train station 3 blocks to the west of this one. It was built in 1883 to handle all of the... More

The staff is very helpful, but there is not much to see there on display. The bathrooms are in another building next door at the relatively new transit center where you can ride one of the tourist buses. They have pamphlets and maps of downtown Gettysburg. Only drawback is finding the parking for this place. It's really easy to miss... More
