Just wanted to let Dan know how much we enjoyed our tour last night. Took an earlier tour because of needing to get to our B & B, so seeing ghosts in the daylight wasn't expected, but enjoyed the stories and history. Dan also told us some places to go back to once it got dark. It was a great... More

My boyfriend and I spent a night in Gettysburg on our way down to D.C. because I had a groupon for a hotel there. We were looking for something relaxed to do, and we found it. The tour was a good length. Our guide was really fun and funny and we learned things we wouldn't have just walking around on... More

This was my first experience on a "ghost tour" and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. We did a lot of walking and didn't really "see" anything exciting (parking lots, original buildings, etc.) Our tour guide, "Shorty" is what made the experience so great. She had my 14 year old daughter and 12 year old son completely engaged and... More

My mom and I went on the battle cry tour with Shorty and had a great time. The tour was very informative and entertaining. Shorty is very good at her job, and into doing the tour.

I love ghost walks and I've done previous ghost tours in Gettysburg and Charleston SC. This time, I tried the 9:30pm Black Cat Tour. Our guide was 10 minutes late. We walked across the street from the business to a little spot by the O'Rourke's parking lot, sat down and listened to a "history lesson and Jenny Wade info" for... More

My family did the Jennie Wade house tour. Our guide was Jennie's dad. He was very informative. It wasn't what we thought we were getting but it was fun and I would probably do the other tour of the orphanage on my next trip. It was well worth what we paid.

In all honesty I probably would not have given the tour such a high rating if not for the wonderful guide. "Shorty" was amazing, animated, and knew so much about the history of Gettysburg. We took the Battlecry tour on 8/16, and the stories were all fascinating and she brought her own unique flair to each one. One story about... More

My husband, 10 year old son and I did the author's tour last Friday at 8 p.m. $36 for the 3 of us. Spooky was a little over the top in her presentation and seemed to go off on some tangents. We visited several sites (Creek bed, Dobbin House, cemetery) and it was an easy walk over just a few... More

This was my first ghost tour and I had a great time on the Author's Tour with Johlen Spooky Riley. She was very animated and while she told many tales about other tours, she did give the historical background of the locations on the tour. She interacted well with our group and we all had a wonderful time.
