Our experience with our Battlefield Guide was amazing. We highly recommend if you visit the Battlefield that you pay the extra cost to hire a licensed battlefield guide. It made the battle come alive!! The expertise was priceless and not something that you can pick up on your own touring the battlefield using the tape or book. Be sure that... More

I am so glad that we went this route. We gave our guide the keys to our car and he drove the entire time. He was beyond knowledgeable and he made the battlefield come alive - even for a couple of hard to impress teenagers. He catered the tour to our family and it was worth the money. If you... More

This is my second time using a tour guide to take me around the Gettysburg Battlefield and I would recommend it to anyone who visits the park. Both times I booked a 4 hour tour and both times saw something new. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable about the history of the battles that took place all over the park, the... More

I am a historian, and know the battle pretty well. These folks are experts, and you can't slip any question past them. The 2 hour tour was excellent. We had Britt Isenberg and he was OUTSTANDING! My family and I really enjoyed this tour.

Our guide was great, he was full of interesting information that I wouldn't have appreciated driving around on my own or by reading a book. He brought the engagements to life and made it easier to understand the strategies being used

You won't find a better tour of the national park than these guides. They know EVERYTHING that there is to know about the battle of Gettysburg. There is a fee, but it is small. They will drive your car for you and give you a personalized tour.

There are three key considerations that make touring with an Authorized Licensed Battlefield Guide by far the most informative, most cost effective and the most important way the most rewarding way to tour the battlefield: getting the most from your investment of time and money, and perhaps most important having everyone in your party come away glad that you went... As a first time visitor to Gettysburg who wanted to get the most out of a two day visit, I decided that a private tour guide was the best way to go. After the tour, I can't imagine doing it any other way. My group consisted of myself, my parents (early 70s) and my two children 14 and 11. Besides... More

My 8 year old really loves history so we did this tour for him and we all ended up loving it. It was more informative and interesting then any history class I ever took. We saw the movie and painting first to give a visual to our kids 8 and 6 and then the tour was the icing on the... More

By explaining and showing us the battle fields history really did come alive. Even my non history husband thought the whole stay was marvellous.
