We booked our guide well in advance and were pleased with the experience. We toured the battlefield on a rainy day and the guide was able to escort us to many areas of the battlefield with no problem. At times when the rain slowed or stopped he was sure to get us to areas we'd want to view outside the... More

While visiting Gettysburg College, my son and I were lucky enough to book with Mr. Ted Gajewski. Ted is extremely professional, knowledgeable and a true expert on the subject. He weaved the historical facts into a chronological story that kept us hanging on every word. If you lucky enough to get Ted, you will get to visit the state monuments... More

The best-spent money in the whole Gettysburg area. these people know about every bullet fired and almost each soldier that was present at the site. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We took the bus tour with a guide, but they also offer an individual guide who will drive along in your own car. Highly recommended!

I did a three hour private tour with Anthony Nicastro and it exceeded all expectations. I was so lucky to have gotten him for my tour. Information was flowing non-stop and really opened my eyes to what happened here. He was very patient and open to answering to the best of his ability all of my questions. He was aware... More

Our family took a battlefield tour with Ms. Moon as the guide. I highly recommend her enthusiastic, historic, and emotional presentation. It is obvious she knows her stuff but also made the tour lively and entertaining. She provided a breakdown of the each day of the battle and the major figures. The bus driver--George was pleasure as well. The battlefield... More

My husband and I were recently here for a weekend trip. If you're interested in Civil War history, a guided tour through the LBG is a MUST. They tailor the tour to the audience and level of knowledge. Rich Kohr was our guide and he was excellent! Extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. These guys really know their stuff,... More

The Guides are VERY well educated re Battle and passionate in their love of History. They can customize your tour including special locations of interest, particular people involved, the various properties affected by the battle, and duration of tour. More intimate than the bus tours-the Guide drives your vehicle so you can pay attention to what they are talking about.... More

I had a basic knowledge of the events that occurred in Gettysburg but was blown away with the vast amount of information provided by our guide. James Roubal was outstanding. His knowledge of the battles and events leading up to the battles was presented in an interesting and informative way. He customized the tour to fit our requirements and provided... More

The usual tour is two hours, but we opted for three hours and were glad we did. Our guide spent 15 extra minutes with us and we would have liked another hour. I was impressed with Rich Kohr's knowledge and enthusiasm for the topic. We were not well informed about the battle before our experience, but came away with a... More
