We took our children, 10 and 7, on the tour and all four of us had a fantastic time. The horses are gentle so as beginners we appreciated that. Our guide, Joe, was outstanding and our wranglers super helpful. We all came away with a good understanding of the battle - and learned it all in a fun and engaging... More

God this was great!!!! This is one of THE best ways to see the landscape of the battlefield. It gives you a keen sense of how officers traveled through the battle. Our tour guide "Joe" was amazing. He was kind, incredibly knowledgable and knew this area like the back of his hand. The gals who operate the horses were amazing... More

We tried to use this venue and they dont return phone calls, dont return emails. Obviously they dont need your business. Use their competitor CORNERSTONE who DOES return phone calls and DOES return emails and DOES care about their customers. .

My youngest finally old enough to ride. He has been waiting. It was a great experience. Rachael (horse handler) was wonderful and Jim ( licensed guide) was extremely informative. All staff were very engaging and assisted my youngest son on how to control his horse. They stopped along the way so pictures could be taken. Nice pace. Definitely going again... More

We really enjoyed this. The staff was wonderful, the ride beautiful, the horses all well treated and behaved. Our group had 1 beginner and then the rest of us were experienced to various degrees and they picked the right horse for each of us. Can't say enough great things about them.

Confederate Trails takes such great care of their horses, something that is very important to us. The ride is so informative and we have learned something new each time. As we ride the same trail that General Lee most likely used to direct the troops we feel as though we have gone back in time to those sad days of... More

I throuoghly enjoyed the confederate trails. I ended up taking the 1.5 hr guided tour, the wranglers and horses were wonderful. This is perfect for any rider and the wranglers are always keeping an eye on the horses for your safety. They will tell you what to do if anything needs to be done. I will definitely use this company... More

Went Saturday, May 24, 2014 and had a great time. Staff handled start-up snafu like a pro and ride was fantastic. Battlefield guide, Timothy, was keeping our imaginations working the whole 2 hours while Rachel and Kendal kept our horse line supervised. At half way through ride, they also did a saddle safety check.... Would def do again.... Thanks, Kris

Despite confirmations of a ride, noone showed up at the agreed site, or responded to our phone calls and email about the ride. The timing was important as our time here was limited.

Gettysburg Battlefield is one of my favorite historic areas to visit and I have toured the battlefield many times by foot,by car,and by bicycle. The only thing left was a tour on horseback and it was well worth the wait!! It gives you a totally different perspective on this hallowed ground. You can truly get a sense of what the... More
