We took my 76 yr old father to Victorian Photography to get him fixed up in Confederate General attire (since we are from Richmond, Va. lol) and it was so much fun for him. The quality of the picture was excellent and the entire experience was worth it. Every detail was done to look "authentic" and Dad was so pleased... More

Tish couldn't have been nicer! What an experience! We had an appointment (which I would really recommend) and two other parties walked in while she was giving us the costs and types of photography that could be used. After we decided to get the wet plate, plus two 5x7s, Tish took us upstairs to costume us. I went first and... More

My husband and I had a wet plate photo done in period costume today and we couldn't be more pleased with the results! The owner dressed us and posed us as a Union General and wife, gave us a wonderful history lesson on photography, and a science lesson on the process of wet plate photography. She couldn't have been nicer.... More

This is a late review. We visited Gettysburg in March 2012 during Spring break (pls ignore the tripadvisor' visit time at the end). Before the trip, I looked on Tripadvisor for what to do and decided to try this place out. Patricia helped me to pick a dress and put it on. She payed attention to small details so the... More

Had two hours to kill in Gettysburg. I stopped by this place because it was rated the top attraction in Gettysburg by tripadvisor. I couldn't resist. I ended up with the wet-plate on tin. Patricia explained the entire process step by step. The end product: something I will treasure the rest of my life.

We went there for a 10am appointment. Patricia(Trish) asked us what we wanted, gave us exact costs and took us upstairs to the photo studio. She dressed my wife in period costume as a nurse and made me the rebel General I always wanted to be. She explained the process thoroughly and set us up so we didn't move while... More

Had a great experience with Del and Patricia. They're both kind and extremely talented. The tin type and wet plate photography they do is beautiful. We'll be back when we make our yearly pilgrimage to Gettysburg next year!

Owners were awesome and enjoyed talking with them as we had our pictures taken! They were very knowledgable about the pieces and were great with our kids. Prices were good too!

Had a wet plate done this time. Not only is it perfect, but they explained to me the whole process. They are very professional and I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have the perfect Gettysburg souvenir. Next time, I'm doing the fake dead confederate sharpshooter on location at Devil's Den!

My husband and I did this with our daughter and three boys and we had a blast. We had so much fun dressing up and got a history lesson to boot. Make an appointment and, girls, if you want to look authentic, wear very minimal make-up (we wore foundation and a little mascara) and no nail polish. Also, do it... More
