I went this last weekend with my boyfriend, knowing full well that there would probably be families with kids and some parts would be more catered to a younger audience. Families bring in the most money, so it makes sense for any tourist-activity to have easier codes and such for kids (in reference to some other post). Well.. We had... More

I agree with the reviewer who said that its better if you have younger children who like deciphering a code and following maps. I felt like we were just pretty much being led back and forth around town. And it wasn't inexpensive. More

Lincolns Lost Treasure is a MUST DO when visiting Gettysburg! My 2 teen girls and I had a blast this past weekend (August 21, 2011). We were grouped together with 2 other families. We all worked together to figure out the clues and had a great time walking through the streets of Gettysburg chatting with each other making sure no... More

This is a great activity for anyone! It's particularly fun if you're willing to "get into it" and join in some acting yourself. I recommend participating a part of a group--we had elementary age to college age kids in our group--because part of the fun is being in on something that the unsuspecting tourists and others around you aren't aware... Definitely something different as well as a great way to experience the charm of Gettysburg. The unique way the "mission" is accomplished gets everyone involved as you walk the streets searching for clues. We were all caught up in the drama, looking over our shoulders for spies! Great fun for the whole family! More

Lincoln's Lost Treasure was a very cool way to spend a couple of hours in Gettysburg. It took a little time for the kids to feel comfortable playing the "spy" role, but once we met up with Natasia, we had a blast! I feel like a few actors "planted" among us at the beginning would help pull the group together... More

This summer my parents planned a trip to Gettysburg and put this lil adventure in. At first we were all skeptical and unsure of how well we would like this. But as it turns out we loved it! It gave a a better chance to walk around and explore the town of Gettysburg and all it had to offer. We... More
