We went on the double decker 2 hour bus tour of the battlefield. We were on the top tier of the bus. The tour guide was incredibly informative, really learned alot! Very friendly! The views were spectacular and stunning!!! It was a beautiful sun shiny day and we all had a great time!!!!!!! Thank - you!! Well worth the cost!!!

We were limited for time and didn't want to miss anything so we bought the package deal that included the museum, bus tour and movie. Our tour guide was so well informed and showed us so much. We enjoyed the whole day immensely! If we go again we might do the self guided tour if we can take more time... More

We were traveling with 2 other families and had 15 kids/ 7 adults. It was expensive to take the kids (ages 1-15), and I didn't feel like it was the best use of money. Looking back I would have done the CD audio tour in the car. The older kids (ages 10-15) and my husband enjoyed it, but for me... More

I came to Gettysburg with my handicapped grandmother and neither of us had much knowledge of where to go or what to see. We decides to go on this tour and we were so glad! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and we were able to see everything in just a few hours!

Went on the bus tour and paid for a double-decker bus, well it broke down and we had to wait for another bus. They sent a regular bus to finish the tour and they didn't even refund the difference , it wasn't a whole lot of money but it is the point. Not getting what we paid for kind of... More

My husband and I have taken several battlefield tours in Gettysburg, PA but, by far, Gettysburg Battlefield Bus tours out of the Gettysburg Tour Center on Baltimore St is the absolute best, They have several tours but we always take the double decker bus. (We try to get the top deck to get the best pictures.) Each passenger gets earphones... More

We came to Gettysburg not knowing much about the area. This bus tour really helped put into perspective what happened back then. If we didn't take this tour, we'd be aimlessly driving around without a clue. Our tour guide (Jack) was great...really kept our attention and added some humor. There was a quick bathroom break along with at least 3... More

I highly recommend doing one of the bus tours. We did this one because of air conditioning and a tour guide. The two hour tour helped us see the scope of the area as well as the sheer size of the Gettysburg battlefields. The guide was incredibly knowledgable and helped us get a picture of the true "Battle of Gettysburg."... More

We took the bus trip in the morning departing at 10.00 and had a very good guide. The tour took about 2 hours and gave us a complete overview. Then after lunch we went back by car to those areas we wanted to spend more time at. Good value for money

If you sit up top your will get a much better view but, if you are tall you legs won't fit. The tour guide was very repetitive. We only made two stops on the tour one for the bathroom and one to overlook the battlefield. I should have purchased the self guided CD and stopped where we wanted to. Actually... More
