The bus was very clean and a nice touch was that there was a bus driver AND a certified Battlefield Guide. So many tour have the driver doubling as the guide. On this one both could concentrate on their job. Our guide was very knowledgeable and covered a lot of history. The tour lasted the full 2 hours and was... More

We were provided with an enthusiastic tour guide on the bus. It was informative and interesting and went for 2 hours, with 3 bus hop offfs ( of about 5-10minutes each). Recommend. We bought a package that included museum entry, cyclorama (talk and viewing of a large painting) and a film for $36 per person. Worth it

I took this tour because my husband was interested, not a fan of battles myself. But, it was very interesting. Our guide, Paul was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He made it come to life for me. Our driver was funny and professional. We both enjoyed this tour!

This guided tour lasted 2 hours and was so insightful. Our tour guide J. Martin was a wealth of knowledge on this battle field. You will be pleased sitting and hearing the parks facts. There is a bathroom break in the middle and several stops to see key battle areas. A great experience was had by my wife and I.... More

Our tour guide brought the battle to life for us! Even though we've taken the tour before, he was able to provide us with information we did not know. It was evident he loves his job. :)

My son had a great time on this tour. There was so much for him to learn and to bring back to his classmates and teachers. The busses could be a little less crowded but we tried to focus on the history set forth as opposed to the scrapped quarters.

Been to Gettysburg many times as a child. It was great to take this tour again as an adult. Surprised at how much I forgot AND how much I remembered. The best way to get a lot of information about the Battle of Gettysburg. . Bus driver and tour guide were fantastic. Able to stop and take pictures at various... More

My husband and I recently did the tour while visiting the park. Due to the snow, part of the battlefield was closed but our guide and bus driver got us to as many places as they could. Our tour guide was amazing. Before the end of the tour, he had given each of us a nickname! He was extremely knowledgeable... More

If you have the extra money this is worth it, being able to sit on the bus as they take you through the town and battlefield stopping at the sites, the tour guide makes the trip not only educational but fun as well, but it is a bit pricey.

Further to my excellent stay at Liaison Capital Hill Hotel DC between the 24 to 26 August 2014. With a good selection of sightseeing tours available, I took the day trip from Union Station DC to Gettysburg Battlefield in Pennsylvania via local tour operators Viator. This is a not to miss trip depicting a very historic occasion in America's history.... More
