It's addictive - I now have an extensive library of the accounts of the Gettysburg battle and have returned a dozen times. When you think that the entire Vietnam War claimed some 55,000 lives and compare it to the 54,000 casualties at Gettysburg, you get an idea of how dedicated each side was to their cause. Informative tour but don't... More

The Gettysburg battle fields are something to experience. Take a tour bus excursion and re-live the 3 day war between the North & South. Brother fought against brother, many lost their lives fighting for what they believed in. It's an experience you will never forget, especially if you are a Civil War buff.

We signed up for the 2 hour guided tour @ $30.00. The Tour Guide was very well informed and explained what led up to the battles and what happened during the 3 day event. He was well spoken and easy to understand over the mic. The bus was air conditioned and comfortable. A restroom break 1/2 way through the tour.... More

This is the way to see and learn an extraordinary amount about Gettysburg and what happened there in a short two hours. Our guide, James Martin, was simply excellent. We had a crowd of boy scouts on the bus who were absolutely silent during his narration - that's quite a feat! But they were all enthralled and asked good questions... More

The bus tour is so educational that it would takes hours of reading and driving to equal. On the self-guided car tour you would be able to control your stop times, but this was not a problem on the bus. And the bus tour guide is so knowledgeable that you learn all the history and points of interest that you... More

I have been dragged along by my partner who had this on his bucket list. Not my cup of tea at all but together with the visitors centre it was an amazing visit. Everything is explained relative to today. Children are addressed, adults pacified and there is humour as well as a wealth of information. Suggest a mid week day... More

1st visit to Gettysburg. The bus tour gave me a sense of where the battlefields are located and what events occurred. The guide was a retired history teacher and very knowledgeable of Gettysburg. I noticed the bus was not allowed on some locations. The next day I took the car tour following the signs and made the stops I wanted... More

I've been a visitor to Gettysburg many times over the years and have watched the town go through many changes both good and bad. I'm a huge Civil War buff and have roamed the battlefields and studied the battle from many perspectives. The one thing we've never done is take the bus. Let me start by saying the tour was... More
