This is an awesome place. The tour guide, Phil Cole, is from Gettysburg and pointed out the home of his great grandparents. I had always thought of Gettysburg as a huge empty field, but it is the whole town of Gettysburg. This was on my bucket list and I would like to go back. 3 days was not enough time.

My hubby, Son and I reserved the top double decker on a Friday. The weather was gorgeous and we had the best experience touring the battlefields with our guide. Very friendly and informative! Great way to tour especially for the first time! They also stopped for a 10 minute break in case anyone wanted to make a purchase or use... More

The double-decker bus tour was excellently guided, full of information and fun facts. It was a great way to put all of the history of that battle into its location. The two-hour trip was perfect for an overview of the fields. It was a great way to spend a summer morning.

Our first trip to Gettysburg will not be our last. Figuring the best way to really see the battlefield was by guided tour was spot on. There are audio tours and car tours, but if you want to get a lot out of the adventure, then the guided tour is the way to go. The buses are clean, modern and... More

Although far to short to detail every distinctive moment, the Gettysburg battlefield bustour provides a clear inside of the size of the battlefield, the specific important locations, the changes during the 3 day battle and some details behind the scenes. Due to the fact that the battlefield looks quite similar as the original situation, and that it is still being... More

We took the double decker bus and enjoyed the tour very much. We certainly learned a lot from our guide. However, the guide is on the lower deck of the bus and it was fairly easy to miss something he said as you aren't able to see him. Having said that, it was good experience and worth the money. We... Was really pleased with our tour, comfortable bus ride and we had to have had the most knowledgable tour guide in the world, he made you feel almost like you were there with his stories and explanation of what happened when and where. Well worth the money for this tour, it was explained in common sense language where anyone could understand... More

This tour was well worth the $. I know very little about the battle but came away with an understanding thanks for our wonderful tour guide. The battle was described in human terms with stories, anecdotes, and ongoing commentary - you're not going to get this from a recorded or self-guided tour. Highly recommend this one -

My friend and I took the last tour of the evening. We watched the sun as it set over the battlefields. It was breathtaking and surreal. The bus tour allows you to enjoy the view while giving informative history of the battles and events thought the a National Park. This a national Park has more monuments than any other in... More
