My husband and I went on the candlelight tour on August 16th with Rick and we loved it! He was so friendly and personable and told great stories! He is definitely made for story telling and kept us all engaged. We did the East Cemetery Hill Walk which takes you in town, up into the Farnsworth house (which was definitely... More

My husband and I went on the 8:00 tour on July31st with Chris as our guide. He was very entertaining and personable. His stories were very informative, with just the right amount of spookiness. He was very knowledgeable about the area, and even had restaurant recommendations for our anniversary. It was my first ghost walk, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Tacky content, terrible guides, definitely not worth the time or money. I regret wasting an hour of my vacation on this.

It troubles me to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with us. If you would please provide some additional information in a message about the specifics of your experience, such as what tour you went on, dates, your guide, etc. so that we can remedy any problems. Your review was quite vague and accusatory. I can assure you... More

We went to Gettysburg July 6th and 7th, 2014. We were friends and had two 8 year olds and an 11 year old. We thought a ghost tour would be fun. Our tour guide was Jenny, and she GREAT! From the minute she started the tour she had us engaged. She gauged the stories perfectly for the young ones to... More

I did 2 of their tours on July 4th 2014. I did the 7pm Mourning Theater and the 8:15 Confederate Hospital Walk. For the Mourning Tour the guide I had was Sam and she was absolutely FANTASTIC! She was hilarious (I kind of felt like she was wasted on our group cause no one else found her as entertaining as... More

We came to Gettysburg PA after escaping the NJ coast hurricane and we've had a blast! We tried two other ghost tours and this is the best, hands down! And NOT because its best out of three but because our guide, Allie, was so passionate about the history of the town! Her stories make you feel, smell, envision...incredible!! Loved it!!... More

Thanks for the great review! We're glad that you chose us to escape the bad weather, and we're even more glad that you enjoyed your time at the Farnsworth House. Allie has been with us for nearly a decade, and she continues to charm our guests on a daily basis. Once again, thanks for stopping by, and we hope to... More

We went on the 9:30 pm Cemetary Hill tour with Allie as our guide on June 21st 2014. We didn't make advanced reservstions but were able to get on a tour. The group was large. There were about 50 people that got split into 2 groups. Our group with Allie started out at a Witness Tree and then moved up... More

We did the Confederate Hospital Walk tour, which was extremely disappointing. Our guide was slovenly and unprofessional, with a very quiet voice and an unconvincing manner. The tour had very little information on Confederate Hospitals and the stories seemed poorly researched. Would not recommend.

I'm sad to hear that you did not enjoy your tour, your guide, and that you feel that you did not receive enough information about Confederate Hospitals. This tour stops at multiples buildings that your guide should have highlighted as Confederate hospitals, including outlining all of the gory details of what went on inside. Additionally, the tour enters the Farnsworth... More

We took the Cemetary Hill Ghost Walk which was advertised as 'walk through Gettysburg to explore some of the town’s most haunted locations'. visit the historic Farnsworth House, explore sites including the Jennie Wade House and the Grove, the site of a massive Confederate charge on July 2, 1863. (all this straight from their website) This is what we did....We... More

I am glad that you enjoyed you guide and your time in the Farnsworth House. We pride ourselves on having guides who are some of the most knowledgeable on the Civil War history and folklore. I am glad that you found the stories and history of the inn compelling. However, I would like to point out that the tour conducted... More

We took a Candlelight Ghost Tour - East Cemetery Hill - on September 22, 2013. We were with our 8 year old son, so we booked an 8:00 p.m. tour. Our tour guide was Jenny, and she was absolutely OUTSTANDING! From the minute she approached us on the sidewalk and said "I see green tickets. You're with me!", she grabbed... More

Thank you for great review! As you can probably tell, our guides love what they do and are always enthusiastic to share their vast knowledge of history and ghost stories. It's especially rewarding to have enthusiastic guests, and a few kind words never hurt either. We pride ourselves in having the best storytellers in town, and I am glad that... More
