Description: Segway tours of the Gettysburg battlefield. Experience the history and...
Segway tours of the Gettysburg battlefield. Experience the history and enjoy the ride! The Segway Personal Transporter(tm) is environmentally-friendly, self-balancing, extremely easy to operate, and lots of fun! You’ll be an expert after 10 minutes of free training. We don’t just visit the battlefield sites. All tours are directed by a Licensed Battlefield Guide (recorded or in person) who will dramatically recount the events of the battle, the military blunders, and the heroic defenses that characterize this pivotal battle. If you aren't interested in the history, we also offer escorted Segway rides. Or try our new indoor Segway obstacle course!

We were nervous at first. Bob and Andrew were very kind and patient and spent enough time with each of us to be sure we were comfortable and safe on our machines. It was neat that each Segway was named after a horse on the battlefield. A chart on the wall tells the history of each horse. The ride through the... More

This was a last minute plan for a fun outdoor activity. The weather was perfect, the staff friendly, and the activities catered to the abilities and interests of the clients. The segways were easy to ride, but the training was tailored to each individual so everyone felt comfortable. The staff provided rest stops, insights, local information, comparisons to movies, and... My wife and I took the Segway tour on 4-9-15. Neither of us had ever driven a Segway before and we were a bit apprehensive about it, but we did fine and had a great time. They carefully train you on an enclosed course in the store. We spent at least 30 minutes getting trained in the store before taking... More

As an experienced Segway rider, this is a great tour. First Class knowledgable guide and staff. My husband and I took both the Western and Eastern Battlefield tours, both really informative and FUN! I was very impressed by their training for new riders. This is the best I've ever seen. Any new rider will be completely confident before going out... More

You may have spent a long ride crammed in a car traveling with your family (or friends) to arrive in Gettysburg. The last thing you want to do when you get to Gettysburg is stay in the car. Leave the car behind and experience the battlefield in a unique way.... the Segway. This is a great family (friends or couples)... More

My wife, son (15) and I took the Western battlefield tour this past Tuesday. This was a first class experience. Bob was amazing in his detail to safety and ensuring we were all properly trained and confident to go out on the tour. His in store obstacle course was excellently designed to ensure we were prepared for all circumstances once... More

They even had gloves for us! Totally great service and experience! The tour guide made the experience great also - highly recommend for... More

We just took this tour with Ed and it was spectacular! The Segway was fun, Ed is super knowledgeable and really funny! We totally enjoyed ourselves even though it was freezing outside! Don't miss this great way to see the battlefield!

We came from California with little idea of what the battle field and its history would mean. I had a letter from my grandmother's grandfather who fought on Little Round top. Bob helped us find the monument, share our letter with others and gave extra time for contemplation. What he added in terms of context and visual understanding to the... More
