Description: Segway tours of the Gettysburg battlefield. Experience the history and...
Segway tours of the Gettysburg battlefield. Experience the history and enjoy the ride! The Segway Personal Transporter(tm) is environmentally-friendly, self-balancing, extremely easy to operate, and lots of fun! You’ll be an expert after 10 minutes of free training. We don’t just visit the battlefield sites. All tours are directed by a Licensed Battlefield Guide (recorded or in person) who will dramatically recount the events of the battle, the military blunders, and the heroic defenses that characterize this pivotal battle. If you aren't interested in the history, we also offer escorted Segway rides. Or try our new indoor Segway obstacle course!

Really enjoyed our tour of the battlefield on the segways. They did a great job getting us trained and prepared to ride the segways throughout the city. Our tour guide, Megan was awesome. She was very friendly, and pointed out many of the sites our audio tape was talking about. We had plenty of breaks, and segway tours even provided... More

I highly recommend this method to tour the battlefield. I was a little nervous at first, but the staff are excellent teachers and wonderful guides throughout the entire tour. This is a fun, active way to learn important history and you can't beat the breeze in your face during sunset on a Segway!

We took the Gettysburg 3 hour segway tour on an extremely hot day and it turned out to be totally enjoyable. The instructors were thorough and patient and while it seemed a little difficult navigating the small obsticle course during the training session, the segway is actually very easy to use once you are out on the open road. We... More

We were visiting Gettysburg and I researched Trip Advisor to decide how best to tour the Battlefield. There were other choices, but I am glad that we chose SegTours. There was a video and then training about using Segways. I had never used one and was a little awkward, but after my training, I felt relatively confident to go out... More

What a great way to see the battlefield, out in the air, not in the car. Awesome. Made several stops to see battle areas. Would recommend it.

We have never been more pleased with a tour!!! Every detail was taken care of and we had a wonderful time on the 3 hour tour. Our guide (Jessie) was a joy as our leader on the trip and the battlefield is a joy to experience while riding a Segway. My wife is a planner and she had snacks and... More

What an experience! There was some concern that this might not be a good idea but with the skilful coaxing of instructress, Erin, I conquered my butterflies and took a beginner course on a Segway. Erin was extremely patient in instructing this elderly couple on the intricate operation of a Segway. Thoroughly enjoyed this activity and were we in Gettysburg... More

We took a tour with the family- we had age 75 through 14 and everyone had a great time. Being on the Segways kept it exciting and kept it from being a passive experience. Plus our guide was so informative and enthusiastic about what he was sharing with us that we enjoyed the learning just as much! Would highly recommend... More

This is an excellent option for seeing the battlefields up close. Likewise you get to enjoy a mode of transportation that is very different than the average day. It was much fun to learn how to use the segway. The training session is easy. Their staff is exceedingly helpful. The cost is reasonable for what you're doing. I would encourage... More

We took the 3 hour tour of the battlefield which included a recorded battlefield guide. The recording was exceptional, mixing interesting facts with humor. I have a much better understanding of the battle, especially the first day and the fight for the round top. I also understand why a relatively minor Confederate Virginian General named Picket got all the credit... More
