Description: The “Ghosts of Gettysburg Tours” are best described as a combination of...
The “Ghosts of Gettysburg Tours” are best described as a combination of history and mystery. The battle that took place in Gettysburg was horrific. We do our best to treat the men who gave their lives with the respect they deserve. We use ghost stories, as relayed to Mr. Nesbitt by those who have experienced them, to explore what happened here. Anyone can make up a scary ghost story, but somehow, knowing that people experienced the ghostly happenings that our guides describe, has to make one wonder if an encounter is in your own future! Our tours include as much of the town as can be walked comfortably. The buildings in Gettysburg are all privately owned, but from what we've been told, just as many ghosts are wandering the streets as are hanging out within four walls! If you're looking for a "halloween haunted house" kind of experience, this is not the tour for you!

The tour guide frequently bemoaned that he 'legally' wasn't permitted to go to, or discuss the Jennie Wade house. That wasn't necessary as there were some fascinating stories just within the contained area we toured. The guide was personable and kept the audience entertained and engaged. For the price, it's a good value, and particularly if you want creepy story... More

Can't say enough about this tour! It's always a great time! Whenever I go we always call ahead to try and get Bill, as we appreciate his background of being a history teacher and being able to connect so well with the history of the town. Definitely the best ghost tour I have ever been on!

We've been to Gettysburg numerous times, and have taken a number of ghost tours, and Ghosts of Gettysburg is by far the best. We have yet to have a disappointing tour guide. He or she were in period dress, and always appeared eager to entertain the group with good ghost stories. Last week was a cold chilly wet night, which... More

Has to be the best ghost tour in all of Gettysburg. Been on 3 of their tours, and all the tour guides are great. They incorporate historical facts to go along with the tales from beyond. Prices for 60-90 tours are reasonable, generally under 10 dollars each. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for good ghost stories.

This tour is based off the the book series of the same name. A few years ago I would have given the tour a five star rating but the last tour I went on was not quite as good. The pros: the guides seem to be knowledgeable about the area and the stories they are telling, the amount of walking... More

We did the 8pm tour on a beautiful night. However the stories seemed contrived & overly long, perhaps because they had not much to share. Quite disappointing, perhaps we just picked the wrong establishment to book with.

The tour was very loud at times because of the traffic on Baltimore. The guide told us more personal stories and babbled on and on. At the end of the tour we were passing our car and thought let's just get in the car and go for a beer and pizza. When we were walking out the bar we stopped... More

We may have enjoyed this tour, but with the lightning cracking around us, and getting drenched, it wasn't much fun. This tour should have been cancelled! It is reasonably priced. Here are some hints: If there is much of a chance of rain, don't reserve your place. Wait until a later date or just forfeit! Also, make sure you know... More

The Candlelight Walking Tour, offered by these fine folks still has me talking about it with my friends, and people I meet. The entire staff is so cordial and welcoming. They could have tried to "sell" their tour, but they knew they wouldn't have to. And they are so right! There are so many aspects of the history of Gettysburg... More
