Owner description: The “Ghosts of Gettysburg Tours” are best described as a combination of history and mystery. The battle that took place in Gettysburg was horrific. We do our best to treat the men who gave their lives with the respect they deserve. We use ghost stories, as relayed to Mr. Nesbitt by those who have experienced them, to explore what happened here. Anyone can make up a scary ghost story, but somehow, knowing that people experienced the ghostly happenings that our guides describe, has to make one wonder if an encounter is in your own future! Our tours include as much of the town as can be walked comfortably. The buildings in Gettysburg are all privately owned, but from what we've been told, just as many ghosts are wandering the streets as are hanging out within four walls! If you're looking for a "halloween haunted house" kind of experience, this is not the tour for you!

We did the 8pm tour on a beautiful night. However the stories seemed contrived & overly long, perhaps because they had not much to share. Quite disappointing, perhaps we just picked the wrong establishment to book with.

The tour was very loud at times because of the traffic on Baltimore. The guide told us more personal stories and babbled on and on. At the end of the tour we were passing our car and thought let's just get in the car and go for a beer and pizza. When we were walking out the bar we stopped... More

We may have enjoyed this tour, but with the lightning cracking around us, and getting drenched, it wasn't much fun. This tour should have been cancelled! It is reasonably priced. Here are some hints: If there is much of a chance of rain, don't reserve your place. Wait until a later date or just forfeit! Also, make sure you know... More

Went on the bus tour Friday evening with Steve as our guide and it was great, we had a small group which make it nice. Steve tells great stories and the stops are perfect, he is always ready to answer any questions you have. Thanks agin for a great trip. Please bring back the seminary ridge tour(I know its a... The Candlelight Walking Tour, offered by these fine folks still has me talking about it with my friends, and people I meet. The entire staff is so cordial and welcoming. They could have tried to "sell" their tour, but they knew they wouldn't have to. And they are so right! There are so many aspects of the history of Gettysburg... More

Really enjoyed this ghost walk. The stories we were told were based on actual events and did not sound exaggerated just for show. Our guide was very knowledgable and seemed to enjoy the night as much as we did. He encouraged us to take pictures along the way in hopes that one of us would capture something ghostly on camera.... On our visit to Gettysburg we wanted to do a ghost tour because we've done them other places and really enjoyed them. This one did not disappoint. The emphasis was on history, and not just spooking you out, which my wife really appreciated. Our tour guide was actually a living history person and we really enjoyed all of his stories... More

I've been on many ghost tours over the years, and this is one of the best I've been on. Their tours cover three different areas of the town, so you can take three different tours. Their guides are dress in period attire, and lead the tours through the street by candle lanterns. Along the way they'll stop and tell about... More

We spent the day in Gettysburg and were really looking forward to our ghost tour. We were disappointed! The experience relys on the guide...ours was not convincing. She seemed to be doing the minimum of her job. There was alot of walking and cars were whizzing by making the guide hard to hear. Now, if you've never been on a... More

When we booked this tour, we were not looking for a paranormal experience or a ghost hunting adventure. We simply wanted some creepy stories about the sites and people of Gettysburg. From the reviews and advertisements, this tour seemed that it would fit the bill. While our tour guide was friendly and had a few stories to tell, we were... More
