Description: The “Ghosts of Gettysburg Tours” are best described as a combination of...
The “Ghosts of Gettysburg Tours” are best described as a combination of history and mystery. The battle that took place in Gettysburg was horrific. We do our best to treat the men who gave their lives with the respect they deserve. We use ghost stories, as relayed to Mr. Nesbitt by those who have experienced them, to explore what happened here. Anyone can make up a scary ghost story, but somehow, knowing that people experienced the ghostly happenings that our guides describe, has to make one wonder if an encounter is in your own future! Our tours include as much of the town as can be walked comfortably. The buildings in Gettysburg are all privately owned, but from what we've been told, just as many ghosts are wandering the streets as are hanging out within four walls! If you're looking for a "halloween haunted house" kind of experience, this is not the tour for you!

While visiting Gettysburg we thought it would be fun to take a ghost tour. There are a few companies in town but went with this one due to Mr Nesbitt owning this one. We have some of his books and based our choice on his experience in this area. While we were waiting for the tour the tour guides came... More

Do not take this tour! The tour guide smelled of body odor and had terrible theatrical stories with awful jokes in the middle of a "ghost story". There is a reason the last story was next to a bar, had it been the first stop we would have left the tour for a cold one.

Fun stories and well worth the cost in small town Gettysburg. After a tour of the battlefield during the day and then a bite to eat, the ghost tour with Annie (look for the red head) is great entertainment. And as a bonus you get some steps in rather than watching a movie somewhere.

Took the Baltimore Street tour with my adult daughter. The guide had great stories and took care to engage the crowd. Loved hearing the way she brought life in Gettysburg to life, rather than a static storytelling. I would definitely do this again!

We did the Carlisle St. Tour tonight and it was fabulous. It is based on Mark Nesbitt's books, Ghosts of Gettysburg, of which I am on book six of seven. There is a tremendous amount of history in regard to the battle interwoven in the books and the candlelight tour. I had read several reviews that had positive comments about... More

My husband and I chose the Carlisle Street tour, which took us to Gettysburg College and lasted nearly two hours. Our guide, Steve, was an excellent storyteller and very informative. He told stories to and from the college, as well as several sites at the college. The sites at the college were more enjoyable, as there was less traffic. In... More

The best tour there. They are owned by Mark Nesbit, who is a very well renounced paranormal investigator and historian. The tour guide was lively and interesting. Didn't see any ghosts, but really enjoyed the stories.

A great way to see a side of Gettyburg that you may not see, Our guide was great. He had a wide knowledge of the history of the area and was very entertaining. He painted a picture through story telling that gave you not only facts but a feeling for the history of the place. He shared some great ghostly... More
