We had been in both DC and Boston recently and my 9 year old really wanted to do duck tours there, but it didn't work out. I figured we'd do it in our own city as something to do today. My kid loved it. I did learn some things about Philly that I didn't know, but it was a little... More

I had a day to kill in Philly sight-seeing with the kids. My kids are young - 5,6, and 7 at the time, so my aunt suggested Ride the Ducks. Honestly, the only part they were super interested in was the fact that it went in the water, and we happened to be there during the "Tall Ships" weekend. I... More

bus was full. Darlene driver only wanted to complain about the traffic. The tour guy was so boring. They don't give you the whistles until the end, why the idea is to have loud music and blow the duck whistle. We have done the one in boston and seattle and let me tell you this company has a lot to... More

Our fourth Ride the Ducks city. Philly did not disappoint. Great fun for the whole family. You get a very fun history lesson and tour of the downtown area. The ride on the Delaware river is great. A little short on the water but very much worth it.

One of the very first things you should do is to take a history tour through the eyes of Ride the Duck. We were fortunate to have Tour Director Betsy Ross - outstanding - give us a Ducks eye view of the city and the neighboring Delaware River. this 1 1/2 hour tour takes you past most of the historic... What a pleasant surprise! I enjoyed this so much. It was definitely worth the money. The guide was awesome and the whole atmosphere was great. Such a great idea to literally drive into the water and see the sites from the river!

Went on this tour with our extended family - adults, teenagers and young children. We had a great guide (Laura). The tour was interesting, although I'm not sure that the young kids got everything and everyone enjoyed riding in the water. Great way to see the city in an a little over an hour and get out on the water.

This was our first "duck tour". It was about an hour and a half long, and was engaging. Our driver/host, "Betsy Ross" (with Delavante), was extremely enthusiastic, friendly, fun, and engaging. Plenty of duck pun jokes, songs to fit the scenery at the moment, and audience participation to go along with all of these, so go when you're feeling punchy,... More

This is a short trip, only one hour 20 minutes. One hour on land spotting highlights and 20 minutes or less in the water on the Delaware. The water portion is very short..... The guide did a great job. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The check in and loading is laborious since they line you all up and take your... More

This is a fun and informative tour. The driver was moderately entertaining with plenty of corny jokes. The tour covered most of the highlights of the Philly attractions with the added fun of a little cruise on the Delaware river. I'd recommend especially for kids. This attraction is not handicap accessible!
