Great tour, but go on a warm day

Long story short, I couldn't get in to Independence Hall, and there was a long line for the Liberty Bell, so I took a Duck Tour. I was fortunate to draw Captain Norm, cheery man... read more

An enjoyable guide, a bit of a bumpy ride, and an unexpected splash down into the Delaware River made this an enjoyable way to see the city. Now give me my quacker!

This was my first time ever going on this type of tour, scheduled thru Hard Rock Café for a group of us. This was so much fun, to drive around the streets of Philadelphia checking out all the historical places, and then going into the water was a blast! Tour guide was so fun, quacking at almost everybody and place.... More

Long story short, I couldn't get in to Independence Hall, and there was a long line for the Liberty Bell, so I took a Duck Tour. I was fortunate to draw Captain Norm, cheery man who splits his time between acting on Blue Bloods and driving ducks. Norm was very entertaining and seems to truly enjoy his job. His driving... Had a lot of fun. Learned a lot of Philadelphia land marks. This was our first trip to Philly and started here to get our bearings. The employees were very friendly and more than willing to answer any questions about attractions, food, and travel. My wife and I along with our 3 teenage daughters had a blast then they gave... I was so impressed by Fred/Fred Driver and Tour Guide. We viewed the mose popular landmarks in Philadelphia. The pickup for the tour was right outside of my Hotel Monaco 6th/Chestnut. Even though there were only 4 people on the tour and it was raining and chilly, The energy was warm and inviting. Entertaining and the interaction from those on... More

The duck tour is a drive around Philadelphia with a quick description and view of some of the main sites and points of interest - then the duck plunges into the Delaware river for a run up and down. The whole experience was Fun... Made special by Fred the tour guide who peppered the whole time with jokes, impressions, music... More

Not a lot of tour buses end up in a river on purpose, so that's the highlight of the tour . The tour also gets a lot of local recognition and you will be quacked at by pedestrians as you roll along listening to corny jokes and Philadelphia music . Years ago we were given our duck kazoos before boarding... More
