I went here with a friend one night looking for something to do and just to relax and talk. This place is good for that. They are very knowledgeable and helpful about explaining their craft beers. We didn't order food but menu items sounded and looked good. Decent portions and all. We drank our beer watched TV and played darts... More

After climbing the stairs to this second floor venue, we were greated by a very friendly staff member who seated us promptly. The food selections were fairly varied for a brew pub. I had a a burger which was good. The beer and the service was excellent. When in Philadelphia again, I will certainly go back. Highly recommended. More

If you aren't thrilled with domestic beer, try one of Philadelphia's top microbreweries. Great food, fun atmosphere and well crafted beer. More

It's okay for a bar. I went after work with a group. Fine for that but it was dark and crowded. More

Not bad, some pretty good beer. Food is good. The street its on has a lot of bars on it so this is a great place to stop if your bar hopping. Prices are what you expect in a big city "pricey" It is located on the second floor. It's a walk up. I didn't see if there was any... More

After reading all the reviews we decided to head off to the Nodding Head. When we arrived we received a uneventful welcome and were told to sit whereever we wanted to. The waitress came over and took our order. The table was dirty and was never cleaned. Thankfully we were only staying for drinks. When we asked for the check... More

I love trying craft brews and drove up from Baltimore to try Nodding Head and wasn't dissapointed. I tried just about all of the beers on tap Grog, Monkey knife fight, BPA, Goldihops and was very pleased by them all. What I liked most about Nodding head is that each beer is different. What I mean by that is that... More

This brewery is a not to be missed destination for beer enthusiasts. I am currently sipping on a wild yeast amber called "Will" that is both fruity and almost minty. I spoke the the brewmaster who was friendly and very interesting. Most importantly it is not cloying or in any way outside of most palates. The weisse beer currently on... More

The beer here is awesome, definitely worth a trip. The food was just ok, just your average bar food. It seems like this is the place to go for bachelorette and birthday parties, so be prepared to compete with that! More
