The brewery and restaurant are located on the second floor, above the oyster house restaurant. I was immediately intrigued by the old character of the interior and the copper brewery equipment. The purpose of the visit was to consume good beer prior to the ball game. However, when our waitress described the first beer on the list she said it... More

This place is a interesting little local nook. We stopped by late at night for some beer and a snack. The atmosphere was interesting and fun, staff were very nice, and the food was good for pub grub. Beers were not amazing but on the above average side and very drinkable. The guys also loved the free high speed cell... More

Located up a skinny stairway on the second floor, this little brewpub serves up some excellent beers in a wood covered, bobble head adorned atmosphere. The taps are always rotating, and while the beer is a little on the expensive side (considering the number of beer options in Philadelphia) the resulting beer never has disappointed. There are some darts and... More

Stopped by Nodding Head Brewery on a day trip to the city. It was a very cool micro-brew with big character. Staff was very accommodating, and brew crafters were extremely passionate, which is always a good recipe for great beers! Looking forward to coming back for the 15th annual Stumble Fest

Received great service, drank lovely beer and ate delicious food. Cannot fault this place at all. The Hot BBQ Chicken Wings were amazing, as was the mains of Pork Escalope and Fried egg sandwich and Pulled Pork sandwich. The potato wedges that came with the pork were big, cooked all the way through and were delicious. Would heartily recommend this... More

The beers were great, and the bartenders were very friendly here. You can't bobble any of hte bobbleheads though, since they were behind glass cases. There's plenty of space in the bar area, but not enough tables. We almost sat next to a dart game without realizing it, that would have been bad.

The beers are fantastic (the lemongrass one was one of my favorites, so was monkey knife fight), flights are served in wine glasses and are huuuge pours (take a look at my picture, thats 1... More

Nodding Head has some very good local brews. Monkey Knife Fight is brewed with lemongrass and ginger. My favorite. The muscles are also very good.
