Came to see Diana Krall with the Philadelphia Orchestra. We couldn't have been more pleased. I've read many of the other reviews and all I can say is, the people complaining must not go to concerts much?? This is an outdoor concert venue. You know that going in. Rain or shine the show must go on, be prepared. We were... More

Many good reviews appear below. I appreciated the review that is titled: "Great place for great music"...read that review for helpful information. I want to add that all the ushers were really nice. They were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. If your evening concert has an intermission, I would suggest that you go up to the highpoint right alongside the lawnseats.... More

We went to a weeknight performance. we arrived an hour early, however there were no paved parking spots left. The facility has approximately 20 paved parking spots level with the entrance gates. We were directed to park in a grassy area below Gold Parking and down a steep ramp from the entrance. The attendant made us park closer to another... More

First, take back routes into the city. This is located in Fairmount Park. Once you get there, you could park in the neighborhood across the way to avoid parking on the grass/mud for $20. Line starts moving at 6pm. The "plaza" has bathrooms at either end, bars (get a wristband from guys near the door after showing ID), food and... More

Very nice clean facility. Acoustics were great. Unfortunately there was a terrible rainstorm that night and even though we had covered seats, we were on the very end so the rain was blowing in on us when the rain gusted and my seat was wet (I took one for the team and sat at the very end to try to... Great place to take a picnic dinner (or buy one there), while enjoying a concert. If rainy and you only have 'grass seats' then I wouldn't recommend it so much, as there are not so many places to 'stay dry' but if it's lovely weather - it's the ideal location for a concert!

This time the Philadelphia Orchestra plays Gershwin. World class orchestra; great venue; superb guest soloists. For orchestra concerts you are treated as an adult. You can bring a bottle of wine to go with your picnic dinner on the lawn. We had a typical Philadelphia picnic - Herrs chips, hoagie, tastykake - along with our bottle of Malbec and real... More

Unfortunately we went to a John Foggerty concert last nite..during what seemed like a monsoon lol but that said..this IS a partly open type venue that should do better in dealing with all weather conditions! We went early rain and wind u get to a concession stand no canopy, no carriers provided !! so your juggling soda fries hotdog. etc.... More

Kudos for the Mann ! Despite horrific pre-concert storms the show went on. A little shortened but orchestra made up for brevity as did fireworks. A great venue whether enclosed or seating on lawn. Food trucks provide wine, beer and decent, reasonably priced food. Can't beat the venue. Also direct septa bus from center city! Trying restaurant for Brian Wilson... More

The Mann Center for the Performing Arts is an excellent venue for a concert on a nice spring/summer night - they offer indoor and outdoor seating, and also have a balcony. It can get really crowded during a popular concert, like Phish or Ben Folds, and it is relatively small compared to the Susquehana Bank Center in Camden or the... More
