First of all their children's plays are outstanding. We took the kids to Peter Pan and to the Adventurers and to lots more and what the kids love is they can ask the actors questions after the play. Our son was in awe to meet Captain Hook. The evening shows are also fantastic. We saw Sunday in the Park with... More

I had the pleasure of seeing a performance at the Arden Theatre when my grandchildren were pre-schoolers. The theatre in the round in magnificient and no matter where you sat, you were able to see the stage. I have to say that it was well before May 2013 that I saw this play, but I would highly recommend this as... More

We are loyal fans of the Arden Theatre holding season tickets for over 15 years and attend even the Childrens Shows 2x a year. It's hard not to love everything about The Arden. The show selections every year are fantastic-we take the Leap Of Faith every year which provides a break on price by signing up w/o knowing the shows!... More

The Arden does some of the best children's theater in my opinion. The plays are family friendly and very creative. They do a Q&A after the performance so kids can ask how things were done. The actors also mingle in the lobby after the show so kids can meet them. First class!

Been going to the Arden over the years. Have never seen a bad presentation. I like their versatility & subjects that are out of the box. Most recently water by the spoonful was thought provoking. Years ago I was so enthralled by the grapes of wrath presentation that I had to giggle when I realized I was mesmerized by actors... More

In January 2014 we purchased tickets for Water by the Spoonful. It was a great play to see while visiting Philadelphia, because it has connections to the city. The theatre is intimate. We were almost in the very back but felt none the worse for it. I will point out that the play was sold out. That is to say,... More

The Arden is a small theater that produces excellent plays but sometimes their choices are not in sync with what I would want to view. I loved the last two performances but did not like the choices last season. So it depends on what is playing when you are in town! It is an inexpensive and intersting alternative if you... More

This was a first time visit and we hope to attend more performances . We saw Stick Fly which has been produced in Princeton and New York City but I doubt that the casts were any better than the Arden version. Great production and venue

I have been a subscriber to the Arden for many years and feel their productions are consistently of the highest caliber. If you are a theater buff and can catch a performance, I highly recommend it.
