I attended a Saturday event on North Philly in the 1950s-70s. Lots of great archival film, and a panel of scholars. Fascinating -- lots of context, new information, and interesting analyses. Unlike anything else I've seen, this over 100 year old exhibit. It's been a few years since I visited as an Art student, drawing some of the specimens. VERY UNIQUE! Not in the best area and a little out of the way, but I would definitely recommend seeing at least once.
