Our guide had no sense of humor or any attempt to making it fun, she really gave more boring pointers..shame because... More

I have been on many double decker bus tours and the thing that set this tour apart from the rest was the level of service. Everyone was so accommodating. We arrived shortly after the bus left and Greg the manager called for the bus to stop a block away and escorted us to the corner. At every stop the driver... More

The hop on hop off tour was pretty good. It stopped at most of the tourist attractions (21 in all) in Philadelphia. The most important thing to remember if you are sitting on the top is that there are low hanging branches on the trees and if you are not careful you could get hit in the face as the... More

The tour was very informative. Our guide was funny while knowledgable. We had a seat on the top of the bus. The kids really liked this. We stayed at the Embassy Suites near the airport in Philadelphia and had a shuttle that picked us up and took us back to the hotel. No driving was required. Our shuttle drivers were... More

We had a great time. Learned many things and thoroughly enjoyed the city sites in a short period of time. Plus - NO PARKING ISSUES.

I emailed this company about a week before our trip to Philly. We purchased the Philadelphia City Pass and were staying at a Philly Airport area hotel. Someone named Lisa from The Trolley Works emailed me back and instructed me to call the company one day before we needed to be picked up. I called, she told me to be... More

I frequently use a Hop on Hop off tour for my first visit to a city. I did this on march 25 2014 and of all the cities i have used this type, it us the best. They use people to tell you the history (versus headsets that you plug in and listen to a recording). The young lady that... More

WE found the trolley works to be a great way to get from one site in the city to another. Slow season, so the buses came every 45 minutes, but with some planning you can get around and hear about all the great history of the city.
