My husband and I wandered by the Moore College of Art & Design, and discovered that the college has a museum. We went through security (minimal) and visited the exhibits on display in several adjoining galleries. We were pleased that it was free and much of the work was impressive.

I find it odd that there aren't more reviews from alumae. I had a great experience going to this school in the 90's. It was total art immersion. We are very impressed. The staff, the campus, the classes, everything about it. The young women there are amazing. We feel really great about our daughter's choice to attend college there.

Diagonally across a small park adjacent to the Ben Franklin Institute. I found The Moore in an old old Philly guide book. It sounded interesting, so I visited. My daughter was sttending summer classes and I was able visit the bookstore. Most impressive art collection by the students available in the city. Moore College of Art is one of Philadelphia's treasures.

wandered in here after having coffee on Logan's Square. Very nice, friendly atmosphere. Inspiring art collection, light airy atmosphere. no admission fee! Only takes about 30-45 minutes.
