We took a quick 20 minute tour just because that's all of the time we had. The tour guide was full of information about tons of Philly history. I am not big into that kind of stuff but I really did enjoy it and wish we could've had a longer tour. I think we paid $30 or $35 for the... More

It was a hot hot day so we called and scheduled a 7:00pm tour to get out of the heat of the day. Our Driver was John and our horse power was Bill. It was a fantastic tour. Some of the history was repeated from earlier in the day on our bus tour, but we learned a lot of new... More

I would emphatically advise anyone from relying on this company. I had booked a carriage ride for my proposal with a representative named Eleanor. Initially, she seemed really excited to be a part of it and sold her company's services professionally. However, that was short-lived. 48 hours before my big day, I realized it was going to be freezing on... More

We had a November tour with John, and Billy the horse. We bought the one hour tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great way to see the city and get away from the crowds on the street.

My wife and I recently spent a Saturday with our young grand daughters in Philadelphia. We rode the train into the city from New Jersey. We decided to try the carriage tour as my oldest grand daughter loves animals. We took a tour for twenty minutes and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The drver was very nice and informative about the sites... More

We used the Big Bus company tour. Everyone was very proffesional. They pick you up at your hotel and take you to the first stop. They were running behind one of the days, and the owner himself came to pick us up! The tour guides were great. Will definitley use next time we visit Philly!

The best way to start off a look around Philly!! Do the one hour tour as it will give you a layout of the city, then you can decide which areas to go back to tour more thoroughly. Kim was our guide and she was EXCELLENT!! Loved the horse called Wayne!! Thanks for making our tour of the city great... More

We took the one hour (deluxe) tour and found it to be very enjoyable. We booked in advance and they had the carriage waiting for us. Their shuttle picked us up at the hotel. My only complaint was the shuttle driver asked us what tour we were taking and after being told the one hour tour, he said that will... More

Because much of the historical sites are so close to each other, it's easy to see alot in a short ride. Plus you can fit up to six in a carriage, so it's cost effective to go with a large group.

we live in philadelphia and love treating ourselves to carriage rides from this company to enjoy our beautiful city and its history. we have never been disappointed. the price is right though we do save it for special occasions, like birthdays and holidays to truly enjoy the experience. all drivers we have encountered are really nice and knowledgeable. since we...
