We were there a long time ago with our young grandchildren. The performers were excellent for the kids with their knowledge and narrative. And all for free. Can't be beat for entertaining the kids.

Seeing the reenactors talk about the here and now of history is thrilling. In a city full of history, this is an amazing way to learn about it all!

We discovered this service by accident, while waiting for my young nieces and nephews to come out of the Betsy Ross house. The performer was outstanding. Really new her stories and was so entertaining and enthusiastic. What a great way to learn history.

the story tellers were awesome. I think we collected 7 out of 10 stickers. Very interesting stories about the time.

The entire historic district of Philadelphia is great ... many attractions, great and small ... ALL relevant to the founding of our nation ...

Every family that has school children would enjoy the story telling. There benches throughout the historic district where you stop, rest and hear stories about colonial times. The story tellers are dressed in clothes of colonial times.

There were no kids in our group but we all succumbed to skillful narrators who kept us prisoners of fascinating stories of love and bravery

Mostly for kids - but I overhead the story telling. I was impressed. If I brought my kids, i would have probably rated this higher. Being a casual onlooker this time - I think this is an excellent idea to teach kids history through story telling.

We sat through two of these little stories - great way to take a break and hear a small bit of history. The story tellers are quite talented - they do a great job with engaging the kids around them. A fun little stop on your way between the big historic sights.

We were in the Historic area on a Sunday in August. Saw the benches but no one was telling stories. The signs said 11-4 daily so we were disapointed.
