We had a great time. The Park Rangers did a great job. We had to cut the trip short because it started raining cats and dogs.. I will return to finish the trip...

This is a great place to start and orient yourself with the city. This is where we picked up the Duck tour which was a great way to orient ourselves I may add. Figure spending an hour or so in line for the Liberty Bell (security clearance...free to enter to see bell and take a picture of course and a... More

Not much to say but this area continues to revitalize and appreciate the treasures. The open space between Independence Hall and the National Constituion Center is a great place to just relax during the warm months. During the July 4th week, enjoy the oudoor concert with the Philly Pops. There are so many structures with major historical significance within one... More

My friend took us here and I really enjoyed. As I don't know anything about American history, I found it very interesting. It was an extremely hot day when we went which made it uncomfortable and rushed so I'd go there again to read all the outdoor exhibits.

Open air park with grassy area which has the visitors center, the great liberty bell and an unexpected treasure of a ghost house which is the foundation of George washington s home in Philly (they found it while erecting the new liberty bell center). The NPS rangers were nice and well informed about the sites and would answer any questions.... More

I cannot think of anywhere better done by the NPS. All of the big historical landmarks are within this area. There is a really nice Visitor's Center that will clue you in on everything Philadelphia and Revolutionary War. The lawn expanse is also nice if you just want to take a break. There are many benches, restrooms, etc.... Go early... More

The mall in addition to an informative visitor center provides all visitors with an opportunity see the maximum amount of interesting... More

In any city, it's always great when you have a large, well-landscaped open space right in the heart of downtown, and Philadelphia's Independence Mall would be welcomed simply for that fact alone. But, when you add that it's surrounded by several of America's most important revolutionary war sites, the value of the mall is really enhanced. It's a great place... More

Loved it, very interesting. But very long queues - book in advance. Also very hot - remember plenty of water and hats.

This space only adds to the majesty of our greatest national, historic sites. Aside from being a nice walk, it is loaded with outdoor exhibits and is a nice space to view tourists. In addition the President's House is an exhibit that explores the contradiction of slavery and freedom at the nation’s first executive mansion. Don't miss this great piece... More
