Go into the Independence Hall on the Mall!. This is where it all happened. Take to tour, and see where everyone sat. You are there. Add your name right next to JH!

This place has many of important pieces of American history around. Just to mention for example the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. There are almost 20 important sights close by. Start the visit at Visitors Center and head then Liberty Bell, which is free.

Easy walking in the blocks radius with many photo opps. Closeby is Ben Franklin's grave, Betsy Ross' s home and grave.

This was a nice tour. Short but the guides are very nice and knowledgeable. You get your timed tickets at the visitor center. However, they will let you in without one by standing in the hold line.

We visited the Liberty Bell and the outside of Independence Hall in Philly. We found that this mall was clean and uncrowded - even on the July 4th weekend. Relaxed.

A must see for anyone interested in how and where the U.S.A began. Plenty to see and do. Do not miss the Constitution Center!

Plan to spend an entire day or more in this area. Be sure to make the first stop the excellent Visitors' Center before doing anything else. There is a great walking tour (self guided or guided) throughout this historic area. It's small enough that it can be done with small kids and older folks as well. The National Constitution Center... Visit this to have history come alive....visit early in the day or late in the day when there are less people. Much better to see where history was made...definitely worth the time!
