Pretty neat to see the Rocky Statue and his feet up on top of the steps. The statue is off to one side and his engraved feet are on the top of the steps. A wedding party was taking photos and we had to wait in the drizzle rain to take photos.

This was neat to see but the people around the statue were guys just drinking whiskey and other things and just constantly harassing other people the entire time. They would take pictures of others using the cameras of the others and then demand a 5 dollar tip. They didn't get me though but I am amazed this was allowed to... More

Love the Rocky films, stop by for a visit. Try your hand ,well actually legs, at the run up the steps and make the turn toward a great view of the Parkway and city. Take your own picture at both places if you care to. There is no "official photographer" so don't be cajoled into taking and purchasing a picture... More

Pretty cool, the stairs nearby as well, only the guys pestering to take your picture for you were annoying, we wanted to take our own pictures so they were pressuring us to hurry to they could take of someone who paid them. If not for that I'd give 5*.

My wife and I were getting ready to head out of town and decided to swing by the Rocky statue before we left. It's easy to find, plenty of parking and you get to take home another picture of yourself standing next to something that most people will think is stupid when you show it to them. Oh well, I... My wife and I visited Rocky Statue while walking through the historical section of Philadelphia. One of Philadelphia’s most famous pieces of public art is a bigger-than-life boxer… literally. Director/writer/actor Sylvester Stallone commissioned the statue as part of Rocky III, released in 1982. Throughout the filming of the movie, and for some months after, it stood atop the steps of... It is great to see how Philadelphia takes pride in the iconic movie Rocky and these stairs during the training montage. Located to the right of the base of the stairs you are quickly motivated to run the stairs and enjoy the fantastic view of Philadelphia from the top. I would also highly recommend the museum as it is a... More

To see the statue up close and take a photo, you need to join the line (in the sun) for what looked like about 15-20mins. I wasn't interested enough for that! But if you're really into the movie, might be worth it.
