I HAD to climb the "Rocky Steps", even though I'm closer to 60 than to 50, and a woman. I love the movie "Rocky", and couldn't leave Philadelphia without doing this. Of course I posed in front of the Rocky statue. A couple of guys driving by yelled "ADRIANNE!" and I yelled "ADRIAN!" back. Then, we got into an exchange... More

It was fun to run up the 'Rocky Steps' and yell "Yo Adrian!!", then take a picture in front of the steps and the statue of Sylvester Stallone as Rocky.

We went to Philly for the day from NYC, mostly to see this. Growing up with Rocky the films are iconic! The hop on off bus let us jump off & waited for us as there's not much else to do & the museum was closed. I ran the steps did the air punch at the top & took numerous... More

On our family roadtrip we went thru Philly area. I could not miss visiting the Rocky Statue and walking the steps. It is a personal bucket list, not everyone will agree and have it... But Rocky is an icon from the 80´s to many people (me included) showing perseverance, attitude and inner strength to overcome obstacles... to others is just... More

We visited via the hop on hop off bus tour and it was great to see the staue. The statue is no longer at the top of the steps but at the bottom to the right...feels like its been kind of shrugged off and left to one side...which is a shame. Running up the steps is a must and the... More

I wouldn't say this is a MUST DO and MUST SEE! But if your after some fun and have a spare half an hour then i say why not. It is a statue of Rocky, which you stand in line for about 15 min to have your up close photo with. Or you can have one from a distance without... More
