The statue is to the right of the stairs and there is a constant line up for a picture. Not much to see but a statue of Rocky but it is a must do when in Philly. Just a word of warning. When we were there a bunch of men were hanging around offering their "help" to take pics of... More

I love boxing and even though a fictional character I still wanted to see where parts of the rocky movie was filmed. They'd been heavy snow but I must give credit to the city officials who made sure that one side of the steps were clear of snow leading up to the Philadelphia museum of art,I do feel guilty that... Definitely, the highlight of my trip to USA last year. Spent most days in NYC, but the time in PHilly was magical. In fact, I regret of not having booked the Hotel in Philly, instead of NY. If you are a Balboa fan, you will feel it!!! The bad thing: if you wait to take a picture, is possible that... More

The statue of Rocky is located at the bottom of the stairs. I understand it is THE Philadelphia Museum of Art, but can't the Rocky statue be considered art?

My boyfriend and I loved the movie , so we needed to see the statue and the steps that Rocky ran up. It was really fun to see it and take pictures.

if you are fan of Rocky, you will go to watch Rocky statue for sure like me. I name my son as Rocky as well. For his toughness, never give up character. So if you are in Philadelphia, go see the statue, and you will get inspired.

i did no research and thought it was still at the top of the steps, however it was been moved to a random side corner. Nonetheless the place is nice, mane the statue is awesome. And you get to run up the steps!

My husband and I went to Philly for the long weekend but before leaving the city the Rocky Steps and statue was a place to visit. If you are a Rocky fan this is a place you Must go. The line was not that long to take the picture with Rocky statue.

I HAD to climb the "Rocky Steps", even though I'm closer to 60 than to 50, and a woman. I love the movie "Rocky", and couldn't leave Philadelphia without doing this. Of course I posed in front of the Rocky statue. A couple of guys driving by yelled "ADRIANNE!" and I yelled "ADRIAN!" back. Then, we got into an exchange... More
