If you grew up in the greater Philly area watching the Mummers parade on New Year's Day, you will find the museum about this unique phenomena particularly interesting. Lots of beautiful sequined costumes from years past on 1950's department store dummies plus videos and pictures of past parades. Our guide was very pleasant, enthusiastic, and is a Mummer herself. However... More

As someone who grew up glued to the tv or dressed for frigid temps to stand along Broad Street to watch the Mummer's Day Parade - I really think you'll get a kick out of this place! It's fun.

My family and i were planning a visit to the mutters museum and came here by accident. It is very dated. We decided to go ahead and take the tour. $3.50 each and 5 min later we were done!!! Unless you are a parade design person, just pass

This museum could be very interesting with history and costumes, but it is old and outdated. Most of the exhibits did not work and the information was not current. The lady running the museum was quite interesting and informed, but the museum needs to be brought up-to-date.

Not a first priority place to visit unless you area Mummer or really love the Mummers. It is Philly tradition, but it is Schmalzy. Not for everyone.

Right in the heart of the neighborhood where the music is made. There is one night each week that you can listen to outside concerts. Take your own chair.

Great stuff from past Mummers parades and old costumes. Really worth the cheap entry fee

Our visit was a MAJOR disappointment. I took friends from Italy here because they particiate in an annual parade much like the Fancy Brigades. After the build-up I gave them about the Mummers, it was an embarassment. The museum looks like no one has paid any attention to it since 1960. Exhibits are terribly dated. Many of the "interactive" features... More

Took my Philly native kids here years ago. Was sadly disappointed by the rundown and so-so exhibits. If you are a Mummers Fan you may have a better experience. I hope so.

For the die hard mummer's fan, thie museum would be interesting. After a few minutes, the sameness of the displays becomes monotonous, You can dress as a mummer and watch videos of actual parades, but one visit should be enough.
