And it’s Philadelphia because we love it and want you to love it too. We’re a Philly company and we’ll show you the whole Philadelphia – or the whole of what’s in walking distance. We lend our friendship freely and we’ll gladly recommend a place to go out after the tour. « less

We decided to give Free and Friendly Tours a try after reading the great reviews here on Trip Advisor. Well, the reviews were right. We (four of us) showed up 10 minutes early and were part of a group of 11 people on the Colonial Cheesesteak tour at 10:00 am. Our tour guide Eric was very friendly and knowledgeable. The... More

I lived in Philly for a year and a half, and avoided anything "touristy" like the plague. Nevertheless, I was back in town and also showing around a friend from outside the area. I happened upon Free and Friendly Tours through a few facebook connections, and decided to give it a try. Mark, our tour guide, made the tour both... More

This tour was perfect! Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We visited many of the main historical sites. We were even permitted to bring our dogs along! I would highly recommend and may even take another tour again in the future! :)

Excellent tour and guide. Our guide was so knowledgable with the history and landmarks but not at all boring! He took his time and allowed for questions as well as pictures along the way. It was a great introduction to the city!

This was one of the first things we did upon our arrival to Philadelphia. I would highly recommend this tour especially for anyone not familiar with the city. It was the perfect way to get acclimated to Philadelphia. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about showing us around. He even gave us some great tips on food,... More

My kids were skeptical about going on a tour - they were worried it would be boring - they were immediate converts. Our tour guide was interesting, informative and entertaining. Learned a lot and had a great time meeting a native from the area who clearly has a passion for history and Philly.

Out tour guide was the perfect match for my summer campers. He engaged them and before you knew it we had walked an hour in 90 degree weather and not one child complained! Now that was amazing!!

We enjoyed the 90 minute morning walk, the factual information, stories and stops at historic sites. Mark brought the group together with his fun questions and answers, both children and adults. It was a friendly way for visitors and native Philadelphians to experience Old City and the exciting world changing events that happened right here.

New to the area, I didn't know where to begin my sightseeing when I ran across Fun and Friendly. Could not have chosen better! Like being shown around town by an extremely knowledgable friend. A great introduction to a charming city.

Very interesting tour trough Philly that took just 90 mins. The tour does not cover entrance to any of museums, but you will get very interesting facts from history of Philadelphia.
