Take a Free and Friendly walking tour with us! It’s free, which means you tip us what you want. It’s friendly because we’re friendly folks. And it’s Philadelphia because we love it and want you to love it too. We’re a Philly company and we’ll show you the whole Philadelphia – or the whole of what’s in walking distance. We lend our friendship freely and we’ll gladly recommend a place to go out after the tour.

My family and I made a reservation with Free and Friendly the evening before our tour. We wound up running late the next day due to traffic and contacted Caleb who was to be our guide for the tour. Not only was he gracious in waiting for us to arrive, when we did, he made sure to ask if we... More

My friend and I went on the Colonial and Cheesesteak tour. Our guide was Caleb, who was friendly and knowledgeable. We learned about some of the less well known buildings/sites in old Philadelphia. If I return to Philadelphia, I would like to try this company's ghost tour and African-American tour. If it's summertime, bring some water!

We found this tour via Trip Advisor and were very pleased. Even our 13-year old gave it his seal of approval afterward. Our guide was a local who used to double as a schoolteacher, so he was knowledgeable and had excellent rapport with our kids. An elderly couple walking by overheard our tour and joined in midstream, thus proving the... More

Caleb was excellent very informative about Philly. We had people in our group on Sunday. Overall there were 16 people on this tour and Caleb took his time for all of us. It was a 2 hour walk around Philadelphia. It was a lot of walking but worth it. My 9 and 5 year old liked it and did the... More

Caleb was informative and engaging. We had a very short time in Philly, so wanted to squeeze in the major highlights. This was time we'll spent! Highly recommend.

Did the cheesesteak tour with Caleb, and it exceeded our expectations. I was in the city for the day with our 3 kids (18, 14, and 11), and they all really enjoyed it--not an easy feat. Caleb was knowledgable and engaging, answering our questions and presenting interesting facts at each location. We felt like we were walking around the city... More

I signed up for the Colonial Cheesesteak Tour, and truly expected to eat cheesesteak on this tour. I actually came hungry- luckily there was a Cosi on the next block, so I grabbed a sandwich and did not starve. Our tour guide was Caleb- he was very patient with all of my questions, and was very knowledgeable about the area... More

Had a great 1.5 hour tour of historic Philly. Saw Ben Franklin's burial site, the Bell, Carpenter's Hall, Independence Hall, and lots of other interesting sites, but NO cheesesteak. The tour guide gave us directions to Sonny's AFTER the tour was over. As I said...great tour-- no cheesesteak. The title should change to The Cheesesteakless Tour.

I forgot my tour guides name but it was an absolutely AMAZING Experience! We saw the liberty bell and more and I also loved it because instead of saying where we were, we got a full story behind it! I've been on many tours to other states and this one definitely stood out!
